Chapter 858 - Delicacy in the Desert (2) (2/2)
After going through hardship, everyone gradually got used to things. They started to travel at night and rest in the day.
Curtis’s wariness allowed them to avoid many dangers, and they went on without going through any mishaps.
At night, Curtis would go around to look for food for Bai Qingqing. She got better food and even managed to try many delicacies that couldn’t be found in forests.
Five days passed by in the blink of an eye. They persisted until the sunlight became intense before stopping.
“We should have traveled half the journey.” Alva reckoned.
Bai Qingqing planted a hard kiss on his face, saying in delight, “That’s great. We’ll arrive at Flame City in another five days. An’an, we’ll be able to see your daddy very soon.”
An’an had clearly become skinnier in these five days, but she looked even more exquisite and adorable now. She was also a lot more spirited.
She rolled her eyes gradually, reaching to grab Bai Qingqing’s clothes.
Bai Qingqing quickly turned her back to the beastmen and leaned on Curtis while feeding An’an.
Parker threw a glance at Bai Qingqing and then quickly diverted the tiger beastmen’s gazes. “Everyone, come and have some water!”
Roar!
The parched beastmen all gushed toward him, not noticing the wonderful view next to them at all.
Curtis started to fry eggs for Bai Qingqing again. She’d eat a few big eggs every day, and that helped to produce a lot of milk. Bai Qingqing felt that An’an was going to have a fill and thought that things weren’t good.
“An’an, hold on.” Bai Qingqing gently pulled An’an away and let her feed on the milk on the other side.
There was too much milk. If An’an had her fill, it’d be too late for her.
It was a pity that it was still too late. After An’an’s mouth parted away, she got too lazy to continue eating. Even though Bai Qingqing brought her chest to An’an’s mouth, she turned her head away.
Bai Qingqing felt like crying. “Go on and eat. Your leopard brothers aren’t around. What’s Mommy going to do?”
Moreover, milk contained a tremendous amount of moisture. How precious was water in the desert?
