2 The First Encounters! 1/2 (1/2)
Walking in the safety of bushes and trees I realize that I really got send into the world of Pokémon. You might be asking why I have come to that conclusion, reason simply being that I saw a swarm of Pidgey's flying over my head about 10 minutes ago and just now a Caterpie hid under the bushes when it saw me strolling in it's direction.
My main question now being what kind of Pokémon I'am supposed to be.
I have dark grey paws and my belly seems to be colored in the same color. The rest seems to be light grey nearly white. I have a tail, didn't realize that till I wanted to scratch my b.u.t.t. Scratching it wasn't that easy though, not having normal hands is a real struggle.
My tail is one of the fluffiest things I have ever seen and felt in my life, which... I cool I guess? I'm not really bothered by it, things could be worse.
Well, being human would have been my wish but since I couldn't decide anything is better than waking up being a weak bug-type Pokémon.
I didn't really like anything with more than 4 legs back on earth, and that didn't change after coming here.
I was always annoyed by every single Weedle and Caterpie attacking me when it was just a game, they just seemed like a waste of time in my eyes.
So being a dog-wolf-like Pokemon is really something I can live with. I'm kind of sad that I'm no Growlithe but I guess being another kind of dog is ok, too.
I still don't really know what Pokémon I'am, I remember most of the dog Pokémon but I haven't really been up to date with the newest games, so maybe there are some I don't know.
But this bright hide really doesn't ring a bell for me and I still haven't found a mirror or anything that could help me see my face.
I have been walking around for a good hour by now and still haven't seen more than forest and you average Pidgey, Bidoof and already named bug Types.
Which doesn't really help a lot, at the very least not in the point of finding out what kind of dog I'am.
I seem to be in one of the starting areas of Pokémon, which is good considering that I feel more fluffy than strong. I just hope I don't have to deal with any humans anytime soon. Reason being most of the humans in the starting areas are ten years old if I had to guess. Not that being ten is a bad thing but I would really really hate getting caught by one of those ending up with being stuck between two level 7 Rattatas on a belt of some kid walking back and forth between two villages.
Don't get me wrong I really would like to live a dogs-life once just sleeping and eating all day long. But not for the rest of my life. And as far as I know, there is no escape out of a Pokéball once you are caught.
I'am already crazy enough talking to you guys in my head, I don't need claustrophobia in addition to that.
„Ok, now I'm getting annoyed, why is it so hard to find water here?” (me)
I begin to walk faster because just walking clearly isn't leading me anywhere.
Isn't there any way how I can find water without trying to see it? Aren't dogs supposed to have good noses? What's up with that?
I try sniffing out anything helpful.
A few seconds go by and I really could smell something, clearly not water but a few berries Which clearly smell better than most of the other Pokémon.
I walk over to a small orange bush with round dark blue berries the size of strawberries. If I remember correctly these are Oran Berries. it's one of the few Berries I actually know the effect of so that really helps. Meaning I can eat them without worry.
I seem to be around 40-60 centimeters tall so getting the berries isn't actually as easy as I had wished for. I run towards the small bush and jump up with all my power aiming for the trunk. I managed to hit it hard enough so 4 of the 8 visible berries fall close to me on the ground.
I'm quite happy with my first search and destroy challenge. I begin to eat my fill, and after a good minute, I finish my 3rd berry.
I should probably keep the last one for an emergency. But how is the big question. Can I just keep it in my mouth? Hm. Well, there is no other possibility.
I continue my seamlessly endless journey to find some water. After an hour, in which not much happened if you don't count that I nearly choked on my berry when I tripped over a tree root, I finally hear something that lets me believe that I don't live in a fricking desert.
