Chapter 170: Sword Soul, Blade Soul, Spear Soul

Ye Tian Xie's foot stopped and he turned his head to look at the source of the sound.  Even though it was him, his heart still suddenly stopped at this moment.

Behind him, the lids of the silver coffins closest to him slowly began to move as if something inside was slowly opening it.  With that noise, the lid of the coffin was opened and a white hand stretched out from inside.

Those two footsteps must have come from the person who came out of the coffin.

He was tall and had a majestic appearance.  He looked at Ye Tian Xie with his sharp and cold eyes…….That intense aura around him showed that he was not a normal person, and the ash gray colouring to his eyes and face added a bit of terrifying death qi to his appearance.  He had heavy silver boots and heavy silver armour with a heavy silver helmet on his head.  His hands were covered in the same heavy silver wrist guards and he held a silver long sword…….He was releasing the majestic aura of a swordsman who had fought over a hundred battles!

The ”Sword Soul” of the Heavenly Soul mercenary group that possessed extraordinary sword skills and very strong close combat skills.  He died in a battle with demons a hundred years ago and has been corrupted by the demon qi coming from the Tower of Destiny.  He has already formed a demonized consciousness and has retained a bit of skill from before his death.

With the sword in his hands, the silver armoured swordsman slowly walked over.  As he did so, the silver sword in his hands was slowly being raised.  This warrior who had came out of the coffin was actually a member of the Heavenly Soul mercenary group.  Under the influence of the demonic qi, his body had formed a new consciousness and could even use a bit of the skills he had owned.

A level twenty Three Star Elite.  If it were a twelve man group of normal players, it would be a very dangerous situation, but for Ye Tian Xie, this was not threatening at all.  What felt strange to him was……it actually had four different skills.  This was something that was impossible to have for normal Three Star Elites.  This also meant this Sword Soul's strength and will was far above a normal Three Star Elite's.

Hating how slow he walked, Ye Tian Xie directly rushed forward to meet him, the Moment of Destiny in his hand slas.h.i.+ng down with a ”Dragon Rend Strike”.  When he approached, the slowly moving Sword Soul suddenly raised his sword as fast as lightning and that heavy giant silver sword in his hand seemed as light as a twig as it shot at Ye Tian Xie's body.  On the sword's path, it drew a full moon mark…..This was one of his sword skills – the Moon Breaking Slas.h.!.+

Ye Tian Xie did not dodge because when he threw himself into the air, he did not plan for the need to dodge.  The two attacks landed on each other's bodies……

The Dragon Rend Slash created a deep clas.h.i.+ng sound and Sword Soul's body was sent back two steps by the Dragon Rend Slash.  Sword Soul did not have a high defense, but the damage he gave to Ye Tian Xie had caused him to secretly knit his brows.  He remembered that back in the Beginner Village, the wild level twenty Lord Level Amythest War Tiger's normal attacks had dealt over four hundred damage to him, but that was before he had any kind of defensive abilities……Now, with his complete set of equipment and the Evil Dragon's Body, this level twenty Three Star Elite's attack still dealt over three hundred damage to him……He really was worthy of being known as Sword Soul.  Even though he was only at the Three Star level, his most basic sword skill's attack power did not lose to a same level Lord Level Boss'!

Then how strong was the real Sword Soul, Yun Jian Xi?

Without drinking a potion to heal his HP, Ye Tian Xie charged forward and completely ignored the attacks of Sword Soul.  He continued to send out Dragon Rend Strikes one after another and after six attacks, Sword Soul's HP bar emptied and his actions froze.  He fell to the ground, and his heavy armour made a deep collision sound when it hit the ground.

Without any prompts stating he gained experience and no drops falling onto the ground, Ye Tian Xie walked beside Sword Soul's body and tried to use the ”harvest skill” on it, but he did not gain anything……It seemed like that there was no experience, drops, or collectable material that could be gained here, there were only fights.

When he stood up, two sounds of coffins being opened sounded at the same time.  The two silver coffins beside Sword Soul's opened, and two gray faced people wearing the same silver armour walked out.  One had an average height with a silver blade in his hands, and the other had a st.u.r.dy build with a silver spear in his hands.  Both of them just stood there.
