Guo Guo's body was very light and normally she would be flying, so there was no reason she would be free falling like this.  She was only falling because she was grabbing onto Ye Tian Xie's hair.  Pain transmitted from Guo Guo pulling Ye Tian Xie's hair.  It was so painful that tears almost came out.

Hearing Guo Guo's voice, Ye Tian Xie could imagine her with her mouth wide open, dancing with joy.  This little girl liked exciting things, Guo Guo was a very interesting person……Would someone who could fly fear falling?  Even a ghost wouldn't believe it!

”Where is this place?”  Ye Tian Xie knit his brows.  In this kind of situation where a normal person would lose their mind, Ye Tian Xie was surprisingly calm……At this kind of time, the more panicked a person was, the more likely they were to die.  By being calm, one would be able to find a way to survive.

Because of how fast he was falling, Ye Tian Xie's voice was a little twisted, but Guo Guo still clearly heard what he said.  She softly shouted, ”I don't know…..Master, where is this place!”

”……”  If I knew, would I still be asking you!?

Ye Tian Xie's brows became tighter and tighter.  Where this was, he didn't need to know.  Why he was brought here was also not important.  The thing he had to deal with first……was finding a way to survive!  Even in deepest of abysses, there will be a landing point.  With how high this was, the minute he landed, he would lose his life!

That wind that was like knives on his face made it so he could not hear anything, and it was very hard to calm one's mind in this kind of situation.  Trying to find where he was, Ye Tian Xie quickly looked all around himself……But everywhere he looked, all he saw was pitch black darkness.  Right at this time, a light bulb suddenly lit up in his brain.  He called a scroll from his inventory and immediately crushed it.

”Ding…..You've used the skill scroll – Dark Fog and have obtained the skill 'Dark Fog'.  When activated, a fog condensed from powers of death will surround the user's body, slowing down their falling speed.  Uses 20 MP per use and lasts for 5 seconds.  It can be interrupted at any time.  Has a cooldown of 30 seconds.”

Dark Fog……A skill that could slow his falling speed.  This trash skill that came from the Juvenile Undead Monarch had now become Ye Tian Xie's life saving skill.。

Ye Tian Xie did not immediately activate the Dark Fog skill to slow himself down, rather he drew in all his senses, focusing his mind on his sense of touch.  Ignoring Guo Guo loudly shouting by his ears, he silently felt his surroundings, especially the wind coming from below his feet.  Because if he quickly used the Dark Fog out of excitement, once the effects pa.s.sed and he didn't have the skill to use when he really needed it…..Then the results would be tragic.

Ye Tian Xie closed his eyes and focussed everything on his perception.  He was silently calculating the time and feeling the air coming from below his feet.

A high falling object will always cause a downward air current underneath their feet.  The moment that air current comes in contact with the landing surface, there will be some kind of rebound that forces the air back up.  This will offset the downward air current and cause the airflow to experience a slight change…….The closer one was to the ground, the more obvious the change was.  The further one was, the smaller the change.

One minute, two minutes, three minutes……After three minutes pa.s.sed, Ye Tian Xie was still in free fall.  The terrifying depth of this pitch black abyss exceeded Ye Tian Xie's imagination, but from the beginning until now, he had kept his eyes closed all throughout.  He did not relax his concentration at all…..Because, this was related to his survival.  Although this was just a game world, no matter where he was, he would never accept his own 'death'.”

The wind continued to whistle by his ears.  After falling for five minutes, a slight change in the air made Ye Tian Xie react.  His brows slightly moved, but his eyes did not open.  Rather they became even tighter as he began to concentrate harder……

Half second….One second…..Two seconds……

Ye Tian Xie suddenly opened his eyes as his lips opened and closed, ”Dark Fog!”

A ma.s.s of light and an almost invisible gray fog instantly formed under Ye Tian Xie's feet and he began to slow down under the effects of the Dark Fog.  Although he was still falling, the speed at which he was falling was clearly becoming slower……

”Yi?”  Guo Guo gave a surprised shout as she noticed that they were slowing down.  Then she looked at Ye Tian Xie with a questioning gaze.

Their bodies were falling down like a bundle of cotton floating in the wind.  This slow speed made Ye Tian Xie relax by quite a bit, but once he looked down, he became very nervous again……

The falling speed decreased as time pa.s.sed second by second…..But Ye Tian Xie's previous falling speed was just too fast and the power of the Dark Fog was limited.  It was impossible for him to completely stop in just five seconds.

Three seconds, four seconds, five seconds……

Peng!!

Ye Tian Xie's body shook.  In that moment he felt a tremble pa.s.s through his entire body……He had finally reached the bottom.  He suppressed the violent shock wave that pa.s.sed through his internal organs as he landed and his lips revealed a ghost of a smile.

There were no prompt sounds that rang out beside his ears, nor did his consciousness began to cloud over…..The minute effects of the Dark Fog ended, Ye Tian Xie had landed on the ground.  The shock that pa.s.sed through his body almost made him feel as if he had died.

Looking at his own HP……The entire HP bar was almost completely empty……There was only 12 points of HP left.

The G.o.d of Luck was looking out for him once again?  Ye Tian Xie forced his body that had yet to recover to stand up.  Surviving could definitely be considered a blessing.  Now, it was time to find out where he was and why he was brought here.
