”Ding, you have accepted the quest 'Gu Ping Town Mayor's request – Kill the Undead Monarch on the fifth floor of the Skeleton Cavern'.”

Ye Tian Xie was suddenly infected by the the Gu Ping Town mayor's confidence.  An embarra.s.sed smile appeared on the mayor's old face, ”Thank you, you've allowed me to finally have some hope.  At this moment, the pressure I have been feeling has finally become lighter.  The Skeleton Cavern is south of here.  If you walk to the south, you will see a patch of black land and a black hole.  Before you go, if you need any kind of help, you can just ask and we will try to help you as much as we can.”

Very quickly, Ye Tian Xie already knew what this ”greatest help” would be……

Thirty bottles of level ten HP potions that could recover four hundred HP and had a cooldown of five seconds.  Also thirty bottles of level ten mana potions that could recover four hundred mana and also had a cooldown of five seconds.  Seeing the sixty medicinal bottles in his inventory and then looking at the people that had come to see him off as he set off for the Skeleton Cavern, seeing their faces full of enthusiasm, hope, and wors.h.i.+p, Ye Tian Xie had a kind of feeling where he wanted to cry, but he had no tears.

Too stingy……This was just too stingy…….

The reward for the quest couldn't also be this meager…….Ye Tian Xie depressingly thought.

The mountain roads were hard to walk on and there was no where that was flat.  As he moved forward, there was less plants on the ground.  After Ye Tian Xie went forward for an hour, he could not see any plants on the road.  The few that appeared were usually all withered.

Actually this was very normal.  A place like this that could breed undead monsters and could even form an Undead Monarch, there would be a lot of yin qi condensed here.  Yin qi was another name for aura of death.  Life and death were natural enemies and would drain away life force, so weak little living beings would not be able to exist.  And because of the condensed yin qi, there were no birds or humans in the surrounding area.

The Skeleton Cavern and Gu Ping Town were not far apart.  After an hour of travelling, Ye Tian Xie arrived at a terrifying black area.  Seeing the black landscape in front of him, it continued stretching out, making people feel as if they were entering into an abyss.

A faint cold wind blew across that was cold enough to make people's teeth s.h.i.+ver, bringing a disgusting rotten smell over.

Ye Tian Xie silently stood in place for a while before finally walking forward.

The Skeleton Cavern had existed for a long time, but no one was able to find out how it came into existence or why it existed.  As Ye Tian Xie entered into the cavern, his surroundings became quieter and it became darker as the smell of rotten flesh became stronger.  Ye Tian Xie knit his brows.

When his eyes adapted to the darkness, he felt that the cavern was not black.  Rather, the surroundings were covered in a blue glow…..a gloomy dark blue glow.  This kind of light didn't come from the outside and the sun s.h.i.+ning down.  It was instead phosph.o.r.escence emitted by the rotting corpses.  Taking advantage of the weak glow, Ye Tian Xie could barely see five-six meters around him.

The ground was a deathly black colour, but it was very smooth.  Moreover, it was very quiet here, too quiet.  There was not a single sound to be heard.

And since this cavern was a hole for stas.h.i.+ng things, it obviously would not be lacking in skeleton based undead beings.

Gazhi…….

A sound finally rang out in the silence.  No matter who heard this sound, they would recognize it as the sound a skeleton makes.  Ye Tian Xie quickly turned around and saw a black shadow appearing in the darkness.  He instantly used his inspect skill.

The aura of death seeped into the skeleton of a person who died and formed a new undead being that now instinctively attacks living beings.  Although it doesn't have a consciousness, it has an incomparably strong body.

Undead Body: Automatically restores HP under the effects of darkness or an undead aura and provides 70% death element resistance.

Skills:

Skeleton's hand: Brandishes its dark white boned hands to tear apart its target.  There is a 20% chance to deal 150% damage.

The sound of the skeletons staggering rang out from in front, behind, left, and right of Ye Tian Xie and the originally silent cavern was filled with this terrifying noise.  Ye Tian Xie was also a little tense, but he instantly calmed down……Normally, the farther away from a main city an area was, the higher the level of the monsters present.  The monsters on the first floor of the Skeleton Cavern was level seventeen monsters…….Although there were many of them, they still couldn't be considered a threat to him.

”Gazhi, gazhi, gazhi……”
