Chapter 918 Do You Think I Am Being Unreasonable (1/2)

On the verge of breaking down, Zed let out a sigh.

”What was that? Why are you sighing? Do you think I am being unreasonable?” Jean questioned coldly. The changes in his expression didn't escape her attentive eyes. Sensing that he seemed helpless and glum upset her greatly.

”You haven't really understood me. Let's go to my office. I will explain to you,” Zed proposed, struggling to refrain from expressing his disappointment. He lowered his head and took her hand in a bid to escort her to his office.

To his surprise, she quickly squirmed out of his grip. Looking at him coldly, she sneered, ”I reckon this is what you think of me right now. You think I am creating a scene and trying to embarrass you, so you aren't going to let other people see me.”

”That's enough!” Zed snarled at her in an unexpected moment of spontaneous anger.

Jean was pushing the limits of his patience so much so that he wasn't able to keep it concealed any longer.

With surprise written all over her face, she retorted, ”Are you yelling at me?”

”I'm so sorry, Jean. I got carried away. I have been exhausted lately. You know I have to take care of lots of things with regard to the hotel I've recently taken over,” Zed responded with a sigh, scratching his head and looking immeasurably frustrated.

Jean continued gaping at him as her lips kept shivering. She couldn't conceive the fact that Zed had barked at her.

”I'm so sorry. Can you stop being mad at me? That was just a dream. I didn't cheat on you. And I did fire Julie just as you asked. She isn't at the hotel. So... stop woolgathering, okay?”

When these words came out of his lips, his face seemed to be filled with helplessness.

'These people may not understand what we are talking about. But the fact that they haven't learnt Chinese does not mean they're stupid. They can easily figure out from our expressions that we are arguing with each other.'

At the thought of this, Zed felt his head losing focus.
