Chapter 876 You Do Like Patronizing (1/2)

”Mrs. Jean,” Toby said urgently.

”Don't call me Mrs. Jean when we're outside. We have to be discreet,” Jean said. ”Just call me Jean.”

”I'm sorry I can't do that,” Tony disagreed.

”Why? You're supposed to do as I say, didn't Zed tell you that?” Jean said, purposely raising her voice a bit.

Tony nodded his head helplessly, ”Fine.”

Jean was relieved to hear Toby finally give in. She asked him, ”Did Zed tell you what kind of people we should look out for?”

”Anyone who harms you, Mrs. Jean,”

Tony said without hesitation.

Jean frowned when Tony still referred to her as Mrs. Jean. ”Toby...”

Toby cast a glance at Jean, feeling a little embarrassed. He stammered, ”J... Jean...”

Jean smoothened her face when she heard this. ”Which people? Can you name one?”

Toby shook his head as he looked at Jean from the rearview mirror.

Jean heaved a sigh.

Even then, Toby never questioned Zed—he just merely followed his orders.

”Do you want to know why?” Jean asked.

Toby opened his mouth then closed it again. Finally, he shook his head.

'This isn't funny anymore! If Toby doesn't cooperate with me, I won't be able to do anything, ' Jean complained to herself.

She frowned and glared at Toby as he drove the car.

Toby could tell that Jean was unhappy so he broke the silence. ”Actually, Mrs. Jean, even if you and Mr. Zed don't tell me, I still know why.”

”Really? You know why?” Jean was so excited that she decided to let the Mrs. Jean thing go.

”Yes. Ever since Elizabeth arrived, the family's been a mess which stressed out Mr. Zed,” Tony observed.

”How can you tell that Zed was stressed? If you give me a good answer, you can just call me Mrs. Jean
