”You bad boy! I haven't seen Jean for such a long time. You don't even allow me to have some small talk with her,” Jade said in an upset tone.

”I don't mean that,” Zed smiled wryly. ”You're not having small talk. You're giving a long speech. Do you want Jean to avoid you every time she sees you in the future?”

Jade turned to Jean immediately when she heard Zed say that. ”Jean, do you think I am too talkative?” Jade asked, pouting a little at Jean.

After a short moment of silence, Jean cleared her throat, took a long breath and said with a smile, ”Of course not. Mother, we haven't seen each other for so long. I am so glad to see you again.”
