”You! Give that land to my family, or I won't agree to divorce,” Jean replied furiously.

”Fine. It is exactly what I am thinking about,” he sneered.

”Okay, let's eat first. After we finish, I have something to tell you,” said Jean as she gave Moore a broad smile.

”What do you want to talk to me about?” Moore was curious. What would Jean want to talk to him about?

”Let's eat first, all right?” asked Jean.

Moore nodded and started to eat.

Soon, they finished eating lunch. Both then headed for a walk in the garden to eat fruits and enjoy the view.

”Jean, what is it?” asked Moore who couldn't hold his eagerness any longer.

Jean looked at him for a brief second and then asked in a friendly tone, ”How are you getting used to your new life as part of the Bai family?”

”It's hard to say. Except grandpa and father, I rarely see Edna and Hanley. I only see them during meal time. They don't want to see me, of course. It's less embarrassing that we don't see each other often.”

Moore sighed.

”Moore, if you feel embarrassed in the Bai family, you can go and help Zed in his company as soon as possible,”

Jean asked straightforwardly, without beating around the bush.
