He gently cupped her face with both of his hands. ”Moore really is okay.” He then held her hand to reassure her, ”Adolf and the others were all there when it happened. They managed to pull them apart before anyone got seriously hurt.”

Jean's face softened for a moment and then her eyebrows furrowed in anger. ”If I knew who attacked Moore, he would feel my wrath!” she said, tightening her grip on his hand. Zed pressed his lips together. ”We should go to the hospital and see Moore first. I heard that Moore was the one that caused the fight. So let's find out what actually happened before we start making any decisions.”

Zed sighed. ”What?” Jean's eyes widened. She looked at Zed in disbelief.

”Moore was the first one to stir up trouble?” ”That's what I was told, but I'm not sure about the details,” Zed answered with a bitter smile. ”When we get to the hospital, we will find out.”
