Chapter 329 A Helpless Jean (1/2)

As Jean heard Benjamin's words, she looked at Zed helplessly.

Zed patted her on the shoulder to comfort her and took her towards the car.

She had no choice but to be pulled towards the car.

As Benjamin saw Zed and his wife held each other, he snorted coldly and turned his head around. He looked unhappy.

Jean smiled bitterly when she saw Benjamin's reaction. She quickly thought of something and asked,”Grandpa, are you thirsty after such a long flight? Are you tired or not? Would you like to rest?”

She spoke as gently and softly as possible so that Benjamin didn't get a chance to find fault in every word she spoke.

When Zed saw Jean trying to please his grandpa, he immediately gave Jean a thumbs up behind Benjamin's back.

Jean responded with a smile.

”You don't have to pretend. Go away and don't disturb me for now!” Benjamin, who was not touched by her gentle tone, just replied angrily.

”Grandpa, I know I was really rude to you. I shouldn't have talked back to you, and so I want to apologize to you. I am so sorry! I know you are a tolerant person, so please don't get angry at me.” Jean pleaded humbly and was not discouraged by his cold behaviour.

Benjamin frowned and couldn't stand Jean's words. He shouted at Zed in a cold voice,”Zed, tell your wife to stop nagging. She's too noisy. Didn't you hear that?”

”Okay, Grandpa! Jean, let grandpa rest first. You can wait until we get home and take good care of grandpa then so that he realizes how good you are.” Zed reached out and pulled Jean closer to him, and reassured her with a voice loud enough for Benjamin to hear.

”You!” After Benjamin heard this, he instantly lost his temper and shouted,”I'm not going back! Gregory, find me a hotel!”

”Grandpa, please don't do that!” Zed stopped him in a hurry. ”Please don't get angry. When we get back, I'll ask Jean to make you a nice meal so that everything gets back to normal,” Zed quickly said.

”Can she cook? Don't make it taste like dog food! I still miss Zelda's cooking.” Benjamin sneered. But he was not so angry as before.
