Chapter 324 Is Everything Okay Between You And Zed (1/2)

”I'm sorry to wake you up,” Zed said softly.

”No, I was already awake,” Jean replied briskly, while she selected the shoes she wanted to wear. ”Is there anything you want from me? I think it is impossible for you to call me, just to ask me whether I am awake or not,”

Jean asked doubtfully.

”Of course not!” Zed said with a smile,”I see that you are getting smarter every day. Now you know more about me and understand me a lot more too.”

'If not, last night, I wouldn't have lost control of my feelings and told you the truth.

It doesn't really matter because now I am capable of protecting you, '

Zed thought. ”Is this something good or bad?” Jean asked playfully, with her head tilted towards one side.

”It's really a good thing!” Zed replied,”Okay, let's get down to business now. My grandpa's flight will land soon. I have to deal with something in the company. Could you please ask Jesse to take you to the airport so that you can pick up my grandpa? For my sake, Jean, please do not fight with Jesse, okay?”

Zed was the only one who knew Jean this well.

His last sentence stopped Jean and she accepted his request.

”Okay!” Jean nodded,”I will go pick up your grandpa from the airport. You should stop worrying and focus on your work!”

”You have to be careful and take care of yourself. I will send someone to look after you and my grandpa,” Zed said with concern.

”Zed, I wonder why you always send people to accompany me.”

Jean finally asked the question that she wanted to ask for a long time.

she thought. ”I send people to protect you, not to follow you,” Zed explained. ”Don't think too much. I will explain everything when I come back home tonight. Okay?”

As soon as Jean heard Zed's words, she said,”Okay!”

Jean looked at the clothes she was wearing after she hung up the phone. She walked to the dressing room again and selected something decent to wear.
