”Since Mrs. Jean's hospital stay, Moore has often visited her ward. Just now... the two of them went to the canteen to dine together.” Knowing that revealing was better, Moore uttered everything he knew all at once.

”Moore...” Zed repeated that name with a cold look. ”Without me, her life seems to be wonderful,” said Zed with a smile that looked pained.

Thinking it was best to stay quiet, Toby stood there with a closed mouth.

”Well. You should truthfully report to me no matter what happens! I want to know everything.” Staring at Toby with a look of disapproval, Zed instructed,”Anyone around Jean might be the fiend. So you have to keep an eye on her.”

”Yes, Mr. Zed.” Toby replied hastily.

”Okay, you can get out now!” Waving at Toby to leave, Zed closed his eyes.

Not wanting to hear any more scoldings, Toby rapidly strode out of the ward without sparing a second to wipe the sweat off his forehead.

”Toby...”

Gregory and Terry called him out with a sort of concern when they saw that his forehead was beaded with sweat.

”Shush...” Toby made a shush gesture as soon as he heard their call. He discerned their care for him and said,”I am okay. Be more alert and take care of Mr. Zed. Don't give the fiend any chance to hurt him. Got it?”

”Yes!” Gregory and Terry replied courteously with great respect.

Toby nodded to them, turned back and headed towards the canteen.

”Brother, did Mr. Zed scold Toby? He looked very scared. Do you think he made a mistake while keeping an eye on Mrs. Jean?”

This question was put forth by Terry who looked seriously concerned.

”Don't be so curious about everything. Just concentrate on what you have to do if you don't want any scoldings from Mr Zed.” Gregory warned Terry seriously while giving him a death glare.
