Anyway, you’re back now and if you want to hate me, go ahead. You can stop talking to me altogether, but just don’t mess with me right now. I’m tired.” She was truly drained from constantly having her nerves on edge lately. Her mind was as taut as the strings of a drawn bow. At the end of the day, she just could not deal with it anymore. Before she could even raise her leg, someone grabbed her wrist forcefully from behind. Her back was pressed hard into his chest as a familiar tone laced with mockery resonated beside her ears, “Why didn’t I notice before that you enjoy being tied up?”

“Let go.” Helian Wei Wei tried to keep her breathing even.

Baili Jia Jue sneered into her ear, “Let go? We have signed an eternal contract and from now on, you truly belong to only me. Every bit of you is mine. What makes you think that you can still leave as you please?”
