The final person tagged along because they were worried that He Yan would have locked up the memory card.

After they found the memory card, they didn’t take the card away. Instead, they made a copy of the original video and left the memory card in its original location. They didn’t want to alert He Yan that something was off.

At that time, Jian Yiling was in her study dealing with a few matters. When she received the message, she clicked on it and found that there was a video attached.

Inside the video, there were two people. Jian Yunnao and Jian Yiling.

The two of them had been arguing at the top of a flight of stairs. Although there was no sound in the surveillance, she could tell from their expressions and actions that they were arguing quite fiercely.

They were standing quite close to one another.
