262 Armored Giant Jellyfish (1/2)
The high-speed diesel engine's hum was getting nearer. Hearing its sound, Chen Fan quickly controlled the electric eel to roar, then directed the navigation to head towards the other party.
Thirty seconds later, the thick fog was gradually pushed aside, and the hovercraft transportation ship that broke through the waves rushed in front of the electric eel. Rubbing both of his hands together, Chen Fan wanted to go over to show his concern. But, the hovercraft transportation ship rushed to the beach, its airflow from its bottom forming a small sandstorm on the beach.
”The God of war has come! Am I even able to encounter the armored giant jellyfish here?” The hovercraft had yet to be turned off, when Barru jumped down from the deck, brandishing the broadsword in his hand.
Before anyone could figure out what Barru was doing, an explosive BOOM, comparable to the sound of a fighter jet breaking through the sound barrier, reached Chen Fan's ears.
A huge cluster of dazzling fireballs!
Then, the fire disappeared out of his sight in a rush! Before the vibration of Chen Fan's eardrums had time to silence, a louder and more violent fireball exploded, once again devastating his eardrums.
The exaggerated heat wave cleared the thick fog within a hundred meters! Chen Fan finally understood why Argyll, with his monkey-like flexibility, had jumped out from the pilot interior and blasted out a huge fireball.
”Wow!” Chen Fan said, as he stared at the back of the hovercraft with a ghostly expression.
He saw a white-grey crustacean monster that was surrounded by hard armor, which had an upper body that was covered with sharp horns and a belly with densely packed, clawed limbs. It also had a tail very similar to that of a lobster. Unfortunately, its size was more than 30 meters long, which made it impossible to associate it with any species on the planet!
The damage caused by Argyll's fireball was unfortunately not much. There was no damage to the armor, and the heat had only seemed to provoke the creature's anger, as it kept waving its tentacles around crazily.
”HAAAA!”
At this time, Barru burst out a loud roar. He then threw a javelin out from his back pouch with a swoosh.
This was the best interpretation of absolute power. The one-meter-long pure steel javelin thrust into the monster's abdomen directly, yet only left behind a bowl-sized mark.
”Brother Chen, send your pet to kill this iron giant jellyfish, as it would be bad if it breaks the hovercraft!” Argyll shouted, as he condensed another fireball, firing one after another. The great kinetic energy produced by the fireball explosion hit the abdomen of the iron giant jellyfish.
”Get out of the way, so I can kill this guy!” Chen Fan, who had no time to think, slammed the palm of his hand on the electric eel's scales. The electric eel suddenly opened his eyes, proudly staring at the iron giant jellyfish. Its magnificent aura shocked Barru, who was a few meters away.
Although its energy current could not be released at such a close distance, the electric eel had more attack methods up its sleeve. When the electric sizzling teeth were wide open, a thick green venom was squeezed from its poison sac.
Chen Fan had originally wanted to force the eel to drive the creature into the water with its venom, and then use a powerful current to kill the creature. But, Argyll unexpectedly threw out a fireball from the deck, which hit squarely on the venom with a swoop.
