188 The Howls from the Bottom of the Cliff (2/2)
The ruler's dignity was greatly provoked. This was simply atrocious! The electric eel raised its head. After letting out a howl, it immediately transformed into a sharp sword, then dashed toward the suchosaurus at a speed of 50 meters per second.
”Ang… Ang… Ang…”
The electric eel fought its way toward them. The terrifying memories, which were deeply ingrained in the minds of the suchosaurus, suddenly became magnified. They started to whimper and scramble around.
”Too late!” Chen Fan couldn't just stand at the sidelines. He clenched his jaw, determined to beat the suchosaurus to the point that they couldn't even move for days!
After three hours, Chen Fan's dreams came true. None of the suchosaurus could move at all. Instead, they just floated on the water, their bellies up. It was a tragic scene.
”Howl…” The electric eel raised its long upper torso. It opened its mouth and spurted out some venom, which was stored in its belly. Before the venom could sputter more than five meters away, a long bang could be heard, as it transformed into a flaming blaze.
After basking in its grace and glory...came sleep!

The scent of daybreak was like the fragrance from a young maiden's mouth. One could not help but take two extra breaths of it. The thin mist shrouded the place like a gauzy robe, creating a hazy view.
At the side of the lake, which was situated right at the middle of the Polan District, a black and white figure sat on a bench. The two of them silently stared at the water.
”Why would you call me out so early in the morning?” said Chen Fan faintly, as he crossed his legs. He was a little annoyed. Wu Ruoyu's phone call had woken him up!
”I couldn't sleep…” Wu Ruoyu massaged her forehead, speaking gently. ”I'm not going to look into yesterday's problem anymore. However, I still think your relationship with Yun Meng is a little iffy.”
”There is essentially nothing wrong with the world. If there is any sort of trouble, it's because some foolish people have looked for it.” Chen Fan casually broke a twig from the branch beside him, then started chewing it a bit. He babbled on. ”You must change this erroneous mindset of yours. You should portray me as more of a paragon of conventional Chinese virtues in the depths of your heart. As such, all of your worries will then naturally vanish.”
”Pffsh…” Wu Ruoyu burst out laughing. She had to cough a few times to calm herself down. ”Are you trying to imply that I should hypnotize myself, or that all I've seen and heard was merely an illusion?”
”No! I'm just basically saying that there must be some form of mutual trust between a couple,” he retorted. ”Sometimes, I feel like you will never believe me.”
Chen Fan lay lazily back on the bench, then continued. ”When the time comes, other ridiculous ideas will inevitably pop up in your head. You will even suspect that the cold in the deep mid-winter has frozen my body to the point that my blood vessels render my manhood incapable of doing its proper job!”
”You!” They had not yet experienced any form of physical intimacy as a couple. Thus, it might be a little uncomfortable for them to freely discuss about such a vulgar topic! Hence, Wu Ruoyu, who was already blushing, extended her hand and pinched his waist as hard as she could.
”Let me pinch you, too!” Chen Fan shamelessly put his arms around her slim waist.
”No… Sss… Ah…” Wu Ruo Yu was about to push him aside, but she drew in an icy cold breath instead. She felt her hair standing on end. This was because Chen Fan suddenly put his hand underneath her shirt, then placed it right on her lower abdomen.
One must be aware of the fact that it was currently during the January thaw, and the temperature outside was freezing! So, the feeling of his icy cold hand on her warm skin sent shivers down her spine.
”Hehe…” After realizing that something was off, Chen Fan quickly took his hand out from her shirt, then hugged her gently in his arms.
”Let me go. I'm still mad!” Wu Ruoyu struggled like a kitten. She would not allow Chen Fan to have his way.
Chen Fan put his icy cold palms into his overcoat to warm them up. He then said, ”You will have to stop being mad sooner or later. Nobody can stay mad forever, right? Since your anger will subside anyways, why don't you let it melt away a little quicker?”
After his hands were a little bit warmer than before, he put his hands underneath Wu Ruoyu's shirt again. The whole sky looked misty, a scene further exacerbated by the heavy mist on the lake. Thus, Chen Fan was not afraid that his roguish acts would be discovered by anyone else.
”It's freezing!” Wu Ruoyu grabbed his palms.
The warmth and comfort of touching a woman's skin in the cold winter was indescribable. Plus, the curvature of her waist was beautiful and supple. It was exactly like how it was described in books. He could not resist his heart's desire, as Chen Fan slipped his hand a little higher, stopping when it reached her chest.
”Are you still mad?” Chen Fan stared at her closely, his eyes giving off a sly glint.
Wu Ruo Yu definitely did not had the guts to tell him no. She blushed and immediately avoided his gaze.
”Shall we go home?” he suggested. The burning desire in his chest was ignited. All he wanted to do was to carry her to the bed and make love with her.
”No way! I must head to work soon!” Wu Ruoyu used all of her might to spit those words out from her mouth. She was no longer a child, so she knew exactly what was on Chen Fan's mind.
”Hehe…” Chen Fan licked his chapped lips. Their relationship had progressed to such a stage that, if he were to invite her out one night, she would probably not reject him.
”Sasa, you have such big boobs!”
Wu Ruoyu blushed even harder after hearing his statement! She reached out to push his arms away. However, her energy had completely depleted to the depths of the core, so Chen Fan's arms did not even budge.
He kept teasing and groping her, as if he was playing an instrument. After a while, Wu Ruoyu was no longer able to push his arms away. She bit her index finger with her pearl white teeth, trying to stop herself from making a sound.
Time flies when one is spending time with a beautiful woman. The sun lit up the dim sky in the blink of an eye. The gentle breeze blew across the land. The cool misty air blew on their faces.
”I'm going to work!” Wu Ruoyu ran home, as if she was intoxicated.
Meanwhile, Chen Fan laughed, as he smelled her lingering fragrance on his fingertips. Just like a general, who had just returned home in triumph, he stepped into the house, looking like the cat that ate the canary. Now, he was prepared to catch up on sleep!
He had been battling the suchosaurus till one in the morning yesterday, so he was definitely in need of some sleep. After Chen Fan touched his pillow again, he fell into a deep sleep in a matter of minutes.
”Ang!”
All of a sudden, a thunderous, earth-shattering howl was heard, coming from the underground cave in the middle of the reefs. It awakened the electric eel, who had been fast asleep. It almost jumped out from the water and landed itself on the shore, as it was completely frightened by it.
”Which dingus is shrieking at this hour?” Chen Fan opened his eyes abruptly. The suchosaurus would never be able to let out such haunting howls.
”Ang!” Five minutes later, thunderous rumbles could be heard once again.
Chen Fan finally pinpointed the sound. It was actually being emitted from the ”thing” in the lake. In other words, it came from the direction of the cliff, which traversed across the cave.
Not only was the electric eel afraid of the howls, the suchosaurus were also frightened out of their wits. Their heads, which slightly appeared on the surface of the water, disappeared in a matter of seconds. They then immediately retreated into the water, just like cowards!
”Dang! It can't be the white unknown creature, right?” Chen Fan suddenly recalled the string of white scales that flashed in front of his eyes in the waters right under the cliff.
Chen Fan did not know what it was at that time. However, he was certain that it was not small in size, at least based on its terrifying howls. He was afraid that his initial estimation had been rather conservative.
”Kill it. It must have smelled the scent of the ghost moon incense. I bet it wants to have a taste of it now.”
Chen Fan suddenly felt goosebumps all over his skin. He then controlled the electric eel, causing it to grab the longspear and swim toward the lake. Regardless of whether it was a snake or a polysemous aquatic dragon, he figured that it must be dead!
