90 A New Force Suddenly Rises (2/2)

After swimming a dozen miles and landing on an uninhabited island, Chen Fan climbed to the shore, controlled the electric eel, turned the direction of the submarine, then opened the hatch and carried a pack of food into it. He controlled the electric eel to close the door of where an underwater living cabin had existed.

After eating, Chen Fan was lying happily on the beach in preparation for a good rest so he could continue on with his journey in the evening. The sun in the sky was harsh, and Chen Fan turned around and faced the sea. But after a little nap, Chen Fan felt that something was on his back. He got up and looked. The beach was flat. There were no rocks or shells.

The gun and the phone had been thrown away because they didn't work anyway. The dagger was not in the pack. Confused, he touched his pocket. Chen Fan took out a small, square sandalwood box.

”Eh?” Isn't this the little gift that the white-robed man gave me when I was leaving? He told me that I must go back before I could open it.”

Yesterday he was preoccupied with a gun battle and escape. Chen Fan had forgotten this thing and it took him a long time to recall. Even if the man hadn't died, Chen Fan had decided not to abide by the promise of opening it after he went back. Anyway, why would he bother abiding by the man's wishes when he was dead?

After finding the gap, Chen Fan opened the small box without saying anything. In the palm-sized wooden box, there lay a small, tennis ball-sized white amber crystal object, which gave off the scent of the soul.

”What is this? Chen Fan put it up to his nose and sniffed it. He should not have smelled it because smelling it was a bad move. After smelling the fragrance, Chen Fan suddenly felt a strong desire in his mind. He wanted to swallow the fragrant translucent object. Of course, this intense desire to swallow it did not come from the body of Chen Fan, but from the electric eel that had already started to move.

”What the hell is this?” Chen Fan was puzzled. He took a deep breath and tried to suppress the electric eel's agitation.

Hard, crystal clear, and fragrant.

He thought for a long time and was still confused. In his mind, he felt a strong desire to eat the object. The desire was similar to the excitement of Chen Fan when he saw a naked, beautiful lady.

He swam a few hundred meters with the object in his hand and threw it into the water to let it sink to the bottom where the electric eel would be able to devour it. But what surprised Chen Fan was that the object floated on the surface of the water in a weird way, and had no intention of sinking at all.

Scratching his head, Chen Fan lifted his head and floated to the surface of the water, then transferred his mind to the electric eel.

As the thought was transferred to the electric eel, Chen Fan immediately felt the eel's stomach lurch violently while its saliva flowed like a river.

”Psst ha...” Licking his lips, Chen Fan took control of the electric eel that was on the seabed and swam to the surface of the water.

But at this point, a new force suddenly rose...

A three meter long sea snake appeared from nowhere, grabbed the glittering, translucent object in lightning speed, and then with a series of dazzling swings, it swam into the distant deep water.

”Damn you!” With a cry, Chen Fan quickly controlled the electric eel to track the heinous sea snake.
