The next day, as soon as dawn broke, the mother and son of the Cui family came and knocked on the door of Li Chang's house. The loud sound woke them up.

Xia Xiaochan slightly opened her eyes and heard Grandma Cui's voice from outside.

”Did that damned girl just run away like that? If you dare to run away like this, I will definitely tear her mouth apart! ”

The corner of Xia Xiaochan's mouth curled into a faint smile as her eyes narrowed.

Xia Xiaohong looked at her sister and shrank back. ”Sister, don't be afraid. Even if I die, I won't let them hurt you!”

She hugged Xia Xiaohong and said, ”Sis, don't worry. I won't let them bully you. In the future, I'll protect Sis.”

After the few of them washed up, the middle-aged man beside them also got up.
