419 The Perfect Kill from a Cornered Counterattack (1/2)
When Qin Ruo's attention was drawn away by Black Widow, Bandit Leader the Aeromancer had used Flight to swiftly close the distance between himself and Qin Ruo (the maximum height for Flight was thirty meters). It was incidentally a range outside of Qin Ruo's Elemental Perception, and Bandit Leader's Tier 5 AoE offensive spell Windstorm Annihilation was at once effective.
The powerful stream of vortex shot down the defenseless Qin Ruo from the skies above!
”Good job!”
The men within the Monster Mountains below them were at once thrilled, each of them quickly animating their Combat Auras or Berserk state. Myriad light clusters blocked the powerful effect from the Tier 5 AoE spell as they anxiously looked above at Qin Ruo, who was falling rapidly from the skies while they charged their powerful skills!
Dozens of men were encircling the spot directly beneath Qin Ruo where he would fall, rubbing their palms as they prepared. It was as if they were witnessing Death Jesus's tragedy once again, although this time the actor was the Winter Demon of the Angel Faction…
However, as the Winter Demon who had his Angelic Wings plucked fell from the skies above Monster Mountains, he suddenly and mysteriously vanished right before everyone's eyes.
No!
Only the trio Bandit Leader, Heartless, and Mobile Cop saw with their eyes as Qin Ruo changed in the air. As he descended, Qin Ruo's panic only lasted a second after his Angelic Wings had been severed. His body had rapidly turned transparent in the air and beneath the pale moonlight, it expanded. Two objects akin to thin membranes shot out from both sides of his body and extended just like wings, quickly stopping his rapid descent!
In that moment, his body had barely reached the treetops of the Monster Mountains. His Aquamorph completely activated, two wings were conjured, gliding the wind force as he slipped into the shadows of the woods, vanishing at once from the sights of dozens of Demon Faction players below him!
A beast-like ability to adapt was displayed with such absoluteness that three Tier 5 champions who saw the entire process were left trembling inwardly… especially Bandit Leader who was in Flight!
When the Aeromancer distinctly felt the descending figure extended the unusual thin membranes, it was gliding swift down towards himself…
”Careful!”
Both Heartless and Mobile Cop sensed at once that something was not right, and yelled from below in warning!
However, it was not in time—cold and dismal golden rays streak across the skies of Monster Mountains just like short range sparks, crashing into Bandit Leader's barrier…
Shadow Razor!
In the very next second, a powerful magic similar to Windstorm Annihilation arose once more!
As if a powerful stream of frost surging from the South Pole, every Demon Faction player within a hundred meters were promptly engulfed while every plant in that range were frozen into beautiful ice sculptures! Everything was buried in complete disorder after the Annihilation Windstorm in a sheet of snow whitness!
When Frost Realm exploded, dozens of Demon Faction bandits, archers, and warriors at the center of the AoE spell had their HP drained within the aesthetic sight.
Some of the warriors with higher HP values were no better. Though several survived from the terrible magic by luck, each were rendered immobile as Frozen Realm's effect activated.
Even so, the Elementalists fared a little better. Although their defensive shields were thoroughly shattered and their barriers barely standing, they still managed to stay alive and were not at the mercy of others.
Naturally, those who had no barrier protection were worse off!
After Poochie had magically penetrated the double defensive magic outside the body of Bandit Leader the Aeromancer, he was frozen at once to death by the burst of Tier 5 spell in the air, falling down as an ice statue from high above and shattering upon landing.
”Damn it!”
Although Heartless and Mobile Cop's defensive shields were not shattered by Qin Ruo's counterattack when he was cornered, not much was left of their Endurance either, just as a good portion of their Barrier Endurance was lost. Moreover, even as they cursed, any sign of Qin Ruo was lost from their perception range—when Qin Ruo had glided onto a huge tree branch (Poochie magically penetrating Bandit Leader's barrier), the AoE spell was unleashed, the chaotic cascade of water elements instantly ruining their perception.
It was precisely in that instant of blunder that both Qin Ruo and Poochie vanished from their sights…

High above, Black Widow's face paled.
She never expected that Qin Ruo would be so tenacious. Even if he fell from hundreds of meters above per her machinations, he had actually come up with an idea to adapt, turn around and deal a severe counter attack!
One stroke, and Satan's Salvation forces were decimated by twenty elite forces… including one Tier 5 Aeromancer in her own party!
A terrible panic rose in her heart when the system notification rang. She felt as if she, the hunter had become the hunted!

Liquid Form!
Qin Ruo had quickly activated the additional special effect of his Chaos Frost Boots right after unleashing Frozen Realm, lowering himself to the ground. Before the remaining two Tier 5 Elementalists could reactivate their Elemental Perception, he hastily moved away from the range of their senses. Though the dozen of Elementalists and Warriors were in danger and would be finished if he simply threw out an AoE Magic Scroll, Qin Ruo was reluctant to risk his life. After all, there were tow more Tier 5 champions beneath him while he had not activated any defensive spell, having only negative spells at his disposal.
But there was hope as long as he was alive!
After he escaped, Qin Ruo only needed four seconds to reactivate Frostbarrier and Darkfrost Shield, and seizing the chance as those men had not canceled Combat Status, he extended his Angelic wings once more…
Whoosh!
With the soft flap of wings, his legs left the ground.
