Several people, including Dinosaurcerer and Brother Da, who had gotten a lot of benefits, did not dare to ask for more. They thought of the comrades of the Citadel. After all, they must not be too greedy even if they got a large haul.
Since everyone was adamant on being selfless, Slayer's Heart stopped trying to persuade. The Pet Egg did not drop then, so there was still a chance to cooperate with them in the future. Without any delay, he pushed all the equipment, including more than ten good Gold equipment and the Dark Gold cloak that the Boss dropped toward Qin Ruo.
”It would be a waste to sell these. Little Qin, might I suggest that you keep these and distribute them among your friends?”
When he was finished, Slayer's Heart laid eyes on the ancient skill book Mana Drain. With a light pat on Qin Ruo's shoulders, Slayer's Heart said, ”This book should be with you.”
”Ah! Brother Slayer…”
Qin Ruo stood up shyly as the most valuable item of this trip was this book. Therefore, he quickly decided to refuse it. However, before he said anything, he saw Burning Rose's beautiful eyes staring at him.
”Why would you refuse? Hmph! Be thankful that I have tons of other stuff to learn.”
”Little Ruo you take it. We are a team. You need not be too courteous with us. You are now the best Elementalist in our team. You deserve this book! But if we get any Magic Skill Books in the future by chance, we will give it to Burning Rose. Let's not let her think that she will get good things without working hard.”
The one who spoke was Violet Orchid. Her words were sensible, but the lazy evaluation of the end caused Burning Rose to pout. Then she quietly glanced at Qin Ruo with dissatisfaction and muttered, ”Ruo Ruo, don't be too conceited. When this Sister Rose train Elementalism well, your position as the best Elementalist will be stripped off by yours truly!”
”Hehe! That's hard to say. Maybe, by then, Brother Qin Ruo would be better than he is now!” Gold Digger Babe teased.

Burning Rose crossed her hands and squeaked disgruntledly. Gold Digger Babe stuck her tongue out and snickered behind Qin Ruo.
”I'm merely telling the truth.”
”I dare you to say it again!” Burning Rose was burning with rage, but she could not do anything. She simply looked like she was clowning around, which made everyone laugh.
”Oh yeah Little Ruo, here is a Pet Egg, Malevolent Archdemon. It has pretty good strength. If you want it, then take it. With your Aquamorph, you should be able to train it well.”
As everyone laughed, Slayer's Heart suddenly remembered the only Pet Egg loot in the backpack. He took it out and offered it to Qin Ruo.
Qin Ruo waved his hands, declining the offer.
”No need, I have already have a Pet.”
When he answered Slayer's Heart, the laughter in the room suddenly stopped. All nine of them looked at him at the same time.
”Huh? When did you have it?”
”Already? When did you go to the pet store? What Pet is it?”
”Brother Qin, I don't recall you buying any Pet that time.”
Everyone was agitated and threw questions that Qin Ruo could not answer. None of them knew when Qin Ruo chose a Pet.
What made Slayer's Heart, Violet Orchid, and others uncomfortable was that it was a waste for someone like Qin Ruo to bind with a Pet obtained from the pet store. If they just went to any high-level farming area and farmed for a few days, they could get a stronger Pet compared to the highest level Pet in the pet store.
Qin Ruo had great potential. If he was accompanied by a more advanced Pet, perhaps he might have the opportunity to be the top player in H&G. At the very least, he would be a Field Commander of a Clan.
But if he chose a weak ordinary monster Pet, with his extremely good aptitude, the combination of player and Pet in the future would greatly weaken and suppress him. It was not something anyone wanted to see.
