159 Not on the Same Level (1/2)
The leveling place that Violetmoon Devilite and others chose was deep in the Snow Domain. There was some odd reason to why these people have a special fondness for this Snow Domain.
However, what made Qin Ruo felt fortunate was that, they did not go to the previous spot. Although the respawn rate and the monster's number of that place was high, Qin Ruo did not think that with the absent of Grand Magi, the only melee class in the team, Grandiose Dragon, could handle so many Tier 4 Winter Wendigos.
Qin Ruo was in a good mood now as he was more confident with his ability, but he was not that arrogant to think that he could face that many Tier 4 Winter Wendigos without consuming any MP Potion.
Qin Ruo also tried to avoid the excessive use of MP.
He did not even cast his Tier 2 Aquabarrier. He only used simple skills to trap the monster when the monster entered his attack range. After that, he left the job to deliver the killing blow to Grandiose Dragon, who liked to rush to the front and show off his skills.
Although the attacks he delivered was more on showing off the skill it was no problem for them to deal with one or two monsters at the same time with the help of three people. The only thing Qin Ruo was annoyed about was that this guy had consumed at least four MP Potions along the way. The man was too wasteful!
The deeper they went, the higher the level of the monsters. Qin Ruo began to feel suspicious, wondering where Grandiose Dragon, who was in front, would lead the team. When he caught sight of the figures of Yeti and Ice Python from far away, he immediately figured out Grandiose Dragon's malicious intent.
The monsters in the ”early” region of the Snow Domain were all melee type. As long as they had a melee class to block them in front, the Elementalists and Bowmasters did not have to worry about their own safety. But deep in the Snow Domain, the number of long-ranged monsters such as Ice Pythons and Yetis started to increase. The threat to long-ranged Classes player became greater.
Grandiose Dragon's purpose to bring the team there was as clear as daylight. He wanted to humiliate Qin Ruo.
Qin Ruo snorted to himself coldly.
”Little trick! If I was still in Tier 3, I would definitely not be willing to come here. But after the Tier 4 Advancement Quest, I can easily fight an Ice Python with Violetmoon Devilite's support. It is hard to say who is going to be humiliated.”
Qin Ruo did not expose the Grandiose Dragon's little trick, but this did not mean that others would notice it.
”Wait a minute!”
Violetmoon Devilite bellowed. She frowned as she turned back and told Grandiose Dragon, ”Don't go any further. Up ahead is the territory of the Ice Pythons and Yetis. It's very dangerous. Let's find a farming point around here!”
”Do not worry, Qin Ruo and I are more than capable!” Grandiose Dragon smiled and asked Qin Ruo, ”Am I right?”
”Ice Pythons and Yetis are long-ranged attack monsters. You clearly know how difficult it is to deal with them. A normal team of ten will not even be able to provoke them! Were you listening when I explained that?”
Violetmoon Devilite knew Grandiose Dragon's intention. On normal occasions, when her brother was there, they did not dare to even approach that area because of the Yetis and Ice Pythons. They not only had long-ranged attack capabilities and their attacks which were a major threat but their melee attack power was also very horrifying. A normal Tier 4 Warrior would not want to face them. With the current four-member team, which consisted of one Swordsman, one Elementalist, one Bowmaster and one Priest, there was no way for them to deal with the Ice Pythons and Yetis.
In the past, it was still manageable when they had Ignis Swordmaster, Grand Magi, at least he could fight the Yetis or the Ice Pythons. With Grandiose Dragon, he did not give people a sense of security. Although he sounded extremely confident, he gave an impression to Violetmoon Devilite that he was not able to defeat either the Yetis or the Ice Pythons.
”We just go there and have a look.”
”You go on your own, if you want!”
Violetmoon Devilite stood still. With the silence of other two, Grandiose Dragon suddenly felt awkward. Then, he forced a smile, and finally thought of a more reasonable excuse.
”Actually I am doing this for you. Devil, you just bind your Ice Python as your pet. Now you need to understand more about an Ice Python. It may help when your pet hatches!”
His sincere and thoughtful behavior made Violetmoon Devilite speechless.
However, Blue Princess was not happy so she protested.
”Yes, we can. However, isn't there seven days left? Isn't it better to wait until Devil's brother comes online? With only four people, what should we do if we encountered danger?”
”But we have Qin Ruo! This is a rare opportunity! Grand Magi also said that Qin Ruo is stronger than him… Besides, Qin Ruo is so busy, we don't know when we can meet him again… right?”
Grandiose Dragon continued to persuade. He talked about it and gave some somewhat good points. Even Violetmoon Devilite turned and looked at Qin Ruo.
”Brother Qin, do you think it is safe?”
