The heart of New Moon Profound Palace was a wide area of a sparse emerald-green bamboo forest, and in it, stood a huge palace that emitted a dignified atmosphere. This was the biggest and most extravagant building in the entirety of New Moon Profound Palace. its name was very direct and was known as the ”Main Palace”. All the important matters inside the Palace are conducted in here and the banquet for the new Palace Chief's appointment, would also be conducted here. Yun Che was wearing his usual coat while Retsu was wearing her veil and kimono. Just this time, she changed her pattern but still maintain the purple.
When Yun Che, Retsu and Xia Yuanba walked into the Main Palace, there wasn't even half a quarter of an hour left until the start of the banquet. However, not even one-fifth of the seats were filled not only that most of them were actually people of the Profound Department itself.
”Eh, why are the seats aren't filled yet. Are we too early?” Xia Yuanba wondered,

”You…You dare to disrespect me?” His sudden outburst attracts the present audience none of them actually mind because the one he offend right now is the one kicked his ass three weeks ago.
”Or you haven't learnt your lesson three weeks ago?” Yun Che hit him where it hurts.
”YOU!!!...” He suddenly jumped in front of Yun Che and try to hit him. If Yun Che retaliates, his father will interfere and he will be punished. But before his fist even arrived, he felt his hand was being held back.
”You. Junior Xia. How…?” The one who holds him back wasn't Yun Che or anyone. It was Xia Yuanba himself. Since his strength is the same as him, he was no longer being humble and polite.
”You're not the only strong one around here.” Yuanba released his arm causing a wide of shock among the present audience. They knew about Xia Yuanba but didn't actually expect he could restrain THE Murong Ye easily.
”What is going on here?” A voice suddenly sounded and all four of them turn towards the source.
”Father…” Murong Ye blurted out. He was happy and was about to complain to his father but....

”You despicable son. You dare cause me to lose face here? Go back to the seating area and rethink on your action. My apologies to you three for the lack of respect my son shows you.” The governor takes a look at Yun Che and Retsu. He never knew this two were the ones defeated his son three weeks ago. In the end, he was quite relieved to finally have someone show his arrogant son the way. Now that brat knows to think wisely before acting.
Yun Che didn't know that this middle age man is actually a good guy. Sort of. ”It's okay, Governor. We didn't mind. Thank you for that. We'll take our leave now.” They cupped their hands before moving towards the entrance. Murong Ye felt another humiliation. His father didn't even back him up and slap him in front of everyone. Right now, he lost his backing and could only watch the retreating back of those three.
At the entrance, Yun Che was greeted by a familiar and lovely face. The lovely voice owner was none other than Cang Yue who was currently under a different persona as Lan Xuorue.
”Junior Sister Retsu. You finally made it.” She went straight to Retsu and greet her. And her gaze soften as she lays her eyes on Yun Che.
”and you too junior brother Yun.” She said with a red face while twindling her fingers behind her back.
”Sister Xuorue, you're here as well? Are you participating in the banquet?” Yun Che who was oblivious to her antics casually said.
”Hnnn, the principal Qin Wuyou asked me to join as well. Since the battle is among Nascent Profound Realm warriors. I can join as long as my opponent isn't too strong.” She said happily.
She suddenly shift her eyes towards Xia Yuanba and shock suddenly color her face. ”Wait, Junior brother Xia...you..”
”Ehee, I broke through recently. It isn't that much. Brother in La....i mean boss actually help me a lot.” He almost blurt out brother in law just now. Yun Che warned him about calling him brother in law in public. But, old habits died hard.
”....” Cang Yue was quite speechless. Xia Yuanba breakthrough from the third level to the eight level after three weeks. This was beyond any cultivation ability she ever encountered.
”Well, enough about that, Lets enter” Yun Che dissolve the awkward mood and drag Cang Yue along with them.
When they entered the palace, they saw Elder Sikong Han and Elder Ya Yii were waving at them. Since they are the new elites of the palace. They arranged a special sitting for them. It wasn't much but they would able to see the fight clearly instead of sitting in the back.
”Yun Che and Retsu. You two right now are the elites of the palace. But i think none of the outside palaces or clans heard rumors about you. Just keep calm and observe first.”
”Also, the headmaster has relayed your plans to us. Only the both of us. If you want to back down, nows the time. If not, make sure you know what you're doing.” Elder Ya Yii whispered to both of Yun Che and Retsu.
”Don't worry, Supreme Elders. After this, we will be the most remembered in the palace.” Yun Che said with confidence and Retsu nods in understanding. With that, they left them there to join principal Qin Wuyou.
”Plans?” Cang Yue who was listening suddenly whispered to him. She didn't know anything about these 'plans'. However, it wasn't her place to sniff it out of them but her curiosity was slowly consumed her.
