Someone then asked Shen Nianmo, ”Eldest brother apprentice, have you seen her original appearance? Is it scary?”

Shen Nianmo had been sitting at the table and drinking quietly. When he heard the question, he faintly glanced at the person who asked it. ”It is not scarier than your face.”

The man had a big head and small body. His facial features were also rather flat, and his lips were unnaturally prominent. He looked quite like a caveman. He could often scare people when he went out; hence, Shen Nianmo definitely struck a sensitive spot which made the man speechless.

Guan Jinhua was excited but this reply. She chuckled and added, ”Even if she does not look scary, it must be true that she is not beautiful.”

Shen Nianmo raised his hand and drank from his glass of wine. He spoke rather calmly, ”She is more beautiful than you.” Guan Jinhua was speechless! What he said had hurt her pride. Everyone remained silent. They were surprised that he defended the mysterious grimace person.

Master Fengxing looked at Shen Nianmo in deep thought. When he was about to ask something, the directed audio spell beside Shen Nianmo's waist lit up.

Shen Nianmo was holding his glass of wine at the time and sipped it slowly. However, when the directed audio spell lit up, his fingers went stiff, and some of the wine spilled out of his glass. He immediately put down the glass and said, ”Excuse me.” He turned around and went out. He seemed to dash out of the room.

Everyone looked at each other in surprise. When Shen Nianmo first arrived, he was always calm and quiet. This was the first time everyone saw him being so hurried.

Guan Jinhua bit her lips and pondered for a moment. After a while, she turned around and went out.

She saw Shen Nianmo standing at the corner of the hall, holding a device in his hand and talking to someone. His voice was clear and sounded explicit joyful. There was candlelight shone on his body; exposing his tall and straight figure.

Because the chatty voices behind Huan Jinhua, she could not really hear what Shen Nianmo had said. Hence, she could not help but walk two steps forward.
