1961 Was He Going To Suck The Poisonous Blood Out Of The Wound? (1/2)

Gu Xijiu's extraordinary physical condition enabled her to survive the bite, as long as she was able to consume the cure in time. The moment when she was bitten, she immediately reached into her storage bag to look for the cure.

What she did not expect was the strength of the poison. It was unusually venomous, making her suffer unbearable pain.

The pain greatly affected her nervous system. Immediately, the pain was spread from her finger to her entire body. Her active fingers started to tremble with a feeling of numbness; her sense of touch was greatly reduced. For a while, she could not find the bottle of medicine that she carried in her storage space.

Anxiety took over. The more anxious she was, the quicker the poison spread. The pain was starting to get beyond her level of endurance. Slowly, she was about to suffer from blackouts.

Dazzled, she could feel an arm around her when she collapsed. Swiftly, he took off her mask.

Gu Xijiu was surprised, but she was unable to react. A pill was then stuffed into her mouth. ”Swallow it,” he demanded.

The pill tasted very bitter and fishy. Gu Xijiu was determined to swallow it, but she could not push it down her throat. She tried hard, but the pill still remained on her tongue.

”I thought you were not concerned about the poison from the snakes.” She could hear Shen Nianmo blabbering in a hoarse voice. Soon, she could feel something warm and supple against her soft lips. Also, her tightly clenched teeth were pushed open. His tongue then entered her mouth to help her push the pill down her throat.

She could feel his cold skin on her neck. He gently caressed her neck to help her swallow the pill. Although she had taken the pill, the effect would not be immediate. Gu Xijiu was in such great pain that she could barely stand. He lay her down on the floor with her head on his lap.

Gu Xijiu was still consciousness at the time. She knew that someone was holding her finger and forcing the toxic blood out from her body. She was impressed by his great tact in dealing with a snake-bitten wound.

She knew that it was Shen Nianmo who was taking care of her at the moment. The child did not maltreat an injured person. Instead, he chose to save her. Presumably, he did not bear a grudge or revolt against her.
