That was the most sacred home Di Fuyi, and Gu Xijiu shared. He prepared her bridal chamber in there; they cuddled and made love in there, and he walked every single corner together with her while holding her hand.

The palace was still there, and it still looked as spectacular as before. However, all the poems engraved by Di Fuyi had disappeared! Even the words she carved on the corals, trees, and rails had partially disappeared. Whichever word that was related to his name was now an empty space.

Gu Xijiu had engraved both of their names on a coral before with an arrow that poked through a heart. It was the arrow from a Cupid; however, everything was left there now except the name she was looking for.

She did not give up and continued to wander around. However, she got more disappointed the more she looked.

Di Fuyi! Di Fuyi!

The heavenly law was unfair! How could he have vanished this way without even a name left in this world!???

She slowly walked to the garden and saw the two rocking chairs. Suddenly, she had a blur vision as if she saw Di Fuyi sitting on the rocking chair and smiling to her. He even opened his arms, and she heard a voice. ”Baby, come to me.”

She began to tear as she looked at him. ”Di Fuyi, you're here!”

She rushed forward as she wanted to hug him. She wanted to crash into his embrace to feel his warmth, to feel his presence. Sadly, she crashed into the rocking chair!

Di Fuyi was gone. All she could feel was the backrest of the rocking chair.
