Their gazes met, and Di Fuyi lowered his head to kiss her on her lips. ”Not asleep?”

Gu Xijiu buried her head in his embrace, and mumbled, ”I just woke up.” She had been reluctant to fall asleep… He had left too little time for her. She could not bear to waste even one second. She did not want time to fly by wastefully in her sleep.

However, Di Fuyi was a smart man. He knew her well, and his heart ached! He kissed the side of her cheeks and said, ”Shall we rest a little longer? I will hug you while you sleep.”

Gu Xijiu shook her head and buried her little face in his chest. She mumbled, ”Fuyi, do you think that we… will have kids?”

Di Fuyi placed his palm on her little stomach and rubbed gently. ”Let us wait for it to happen by itself.”

”Alright!” She nodded, desperate for a child.

She then chuckled. ”I want to conceive a child to latch onto you! With a child, you will be reluctant to leave us…”

Di Fuyi rubbed her forehead in response, ”Stupid! You are the person I am most reluctant to leave! It does not matter whether or not we have kids.” In his heart, she came first. Her position was unable to be substituted by anyone. He would never put her in the same position as he did before.

Di Fuyi brought his face closer to Gu Xijiu's and asked, ”Unable to fall asleep?”
