1768 Punishment 3 (2/2)
Long Moyan was out of words. Before he knew it, one of his legs was chopped off as well…
He could not stand anymore and dropped to the ground. He could only look at the flurry of slashes pouring down in his direction without mercy… There were no blind spots in Di Fuyi's attacks. Long Moyan had nowhere to hide!
With the shroud of death hanging over his head, he shut his eyes in despair! The storm of blades that he had prepared himself for did not land upon him. His heart skipped a beat, and he opened his eyes only to see Gu Xijiu standing beside Di Fuyi with her hand pressing upon his thumb.
So the multitude of swords hung above Long Moyan's head, ready to descend at any time. Long Moyan was frozen in fear and did not move.
”Swear an oath,” Gu Xijiu said coldly. She was holding Di Fuyi's finger which he was vital for spellcasting.
Long Moyan's eyes lit up. He knew that it was his only chance for survival, and immediately swore an oath. ”I, Long Moyan, swear never to do any harm to Gu Xijiu and take revenge on anyone in my life. If I break this oath, may I be subject to death by a thousand cuts and suffer in the deepest layer of hell for eternity.”
As soon as he finished his sentence, the sky rumbled with thunder, signifying the sanction of the oath. He looked at Di Fuyi full of hope. ”Will this placate your worries?”
Di Fuyi had a ghost of a smile on his face. ”I will believe in you for this one time. However, you have imprisoned the new Lord by your own accord and poisoned her as well; punishment is still necessary.”
Before he finished his words, his swords crashed on the ground…
…
Long Moyan did not get to leave as he wanted to. Di Fuyi crippled his external abilities and threw him in his bamboo shed.
