1738 Were You The One Trying To Steal The Shrimp? (2/2)

Gu Xijiu was speechless. In fact, she was sad. She sat opposite him and fixed her eyes on him.

Di Fuyi was an almighty god, there were not many things that he could not do. Besides that, he was a perfectionist; hence, he put very high expectation on everything he did. Unfortunately, he sucked at culinary arts because the dishes tasted normal even though he tried his best to make it.

Gu Xijiu always laughed at him when they were still together. She preferred to have a lighter mood with him. Back then, he hardly cooked. He would only do so to comfort her and there were only a few dishes which he used to make.

It was normal for couples to argue. Whenever that would happen, Di Fuyi tried his best to comfort her; if that failed, he would make a tableful of dishes to please her. Normally, she would just forgive him for the sake of a tableful of dishes.

Certainly, Di Fuyi was a very arrogant person. He was good at hiding the fact that he sucked at cooking. Therefore, he only cooked a few times even though they had been married for eight years.

However, there were now 16 dishes on the table which was too much for her stomach.

Gu Xijiu really did not know what to do at the moment. In fact, she could not even tell what she resembled now. She did not look like a soul; if she were, Di Fuyi would be able to see her.

The night was cold. Di Fuyi did not eat any of the dishes but drank in front of the table. One glass followed another as if he was flushing away his depression with alcohol.

Suddenly, he took out a flute from nowhere and began to play with it.

No doubt, he was really good at playing the flute because every single song he played was amazing. Every piece he played had been sung by Gu Xijiu before.

In the eight years they were together, she had sung more than a hundred songs in front of him.
