”Let's go quickly. It is The Lord's birthday tonight; we cannot have any mishaps. We need to keep watch.”
”The Lord is going to break free; am I right?” His companion was speaking with a sense of humor.
”Yea... two pretty ladies are going to be devoured by The Lord for training purposes. What a waste. It would be better if he passes them to his brothers to play for a bit before that.”
”You are right. Oh right, The Lord will not allow others to disturb him while he satisfies his lust. Who is keeping watch of where The Lord is at? Should we go over and give them a warning to make sure they do not disturb Our Lord?” His companion suggested.
That person broke into a laugh. ”There are many proficient practitioners keeping watch of where The Lord is at! Anyone is more proficient than either one of us. Everyone is utterly aware, and will not disturb Our Lord. There is no need for you who keep watch on the gates to warn them.”
His companion sighed. ”Actually I am excited to see how he would break free… Even if I could not gain any benefit, having a look would be good as well.”
His companion hit his shoulder. ”What is there to see? The Lord is at the bloody pond. That is an extremely ghastly place, not where we could approach. We had better stay put and keep watch of the gates. Let us wait until Our Lord builds up his influence; then, both of us would be founding heroes. We would be generously appreciated. It would not be hard to see some pretty ladies then, right? There is no need to be tempted by the two ladies right now.”
His companion threw him a glance. ”You are right.”
”That is indubitably right since I am a few years older than you and can understand the situation better.” He lifted his arm to place it over his companion's shoulder. ”If you follow me later on, I will teach you…” He was forced to stop his sentence halfway.
Before he could put his arm over his companion's shoulder, his waist suddenly cramped! His eyes suddenly dilated as he stared at his companion. He opened his mouth slightly as if going to cry out something but no sound could be heard! His body limped, and he was no longer breathing.
In the dark, a person emerged. He bent down and wanted to snatch the overcoat of the dead man.
