1609 You Wonst Steal Anything From My House? (2/2)
”It's slippery.” Di Fuyi looked at the struggling fishes and the basket; he immediately flicked his sleeve and everything was restored again. Two of the fishes automatically jumped into the basket as though they could recognize their habitat. However, the 'fat carp' was very upset because it was about to head toward the lake.
The 'fat carp' was blocked by a huge green rock. It moved backward and suddenly leaped and bit on the green rock. In the blink of an eye, the huge rock was crushed into numerous pieces like a block of tofu and the 'fat carp' continued moving forward.
Initially, Gui Quan and the two female servants were already frightened by Di Fuyi's power. However, they were again terrified by the ferocious fish.
Di Fuyi ordered Gui Quan, ”Kill it!”
Kill the fish? He was an expert! Gui Quan stroked his sleeve and moved forward with a few big steps. When he was about to catch it, Di Fuyi quickly added, ”It's scales are as sharp as a blade, you'll get a cut!”
Gui Quan quickly withdrew his hands and used the sword at his waist to get the job done!
”Bang!” Countless sparks appeared. His sword did not manage to chop off the fish's head but it broke and almost cut off his hand.
Gui Quan was stunned. Di Fuyi immediately hinted, ”We need fire to kill it.” Gui Quan was quick in response, he immediately took out a lighter and burned the fish.
Indeed, the fire was the fish's biggest enemy. The fish immediately produced a high pitched sound as it was burned. Its body stopped moving after its eyes enlarged.
Gui Quan finally heaved a sigh of relief. The fish was originally light gold in color. However, it had turned red after a short grill.
Gui Quan wiped away the sweat on his forehead. He glimpsed at Di Fuyi as he was about to ask how should he manage the dead fish.
”The fish is very nutritious, and it promotes blood circulation. Since it's dead, the normal way of cooking it should be fine,” said Di Fuyi.
One of the female servants was excited. ”Since our master bled a lot earlier, why don't we make soup for her as a supplement?”
