1449 The Truth 4 (1/2)
Gu Xijiu patted Lan Waihu's head. It had been eight years since they last met but this girl had not changed much and still looked like a 15 or 16-year-old girl. Her big and round eyes looked pure like water. Gu Xijiu hugged her tightly to compensate.
”Miss Gu, I have heard a lot about you. My name is Lan Yue.” Lan Yue came forward to greet. At the same time, he took the opportunity to pull Lan Waihu back to his side quietly. ”You are a big girl now, don't just hug other people or else people would say that you are frivolous.”
Lan Waihu seemed like she was afraid of him and she did not refute at all. Although she was unhappy, she just bit her lips and did not say anything else.
Yan Chen's handsome face was still pale. His eyes glanced at Lan Yue and Lan Waihu for a second then he moved away.
Qian Lingyu frowned. After eight years, this arrogant boy had grown into a steady and calm man. He softly said, ”Lan Yue, you joined us late so you would never understand the relationship between Waihu and Xijiu. Without Xijiu, Waihu would not be like this today. Don't you think it is a bit too much for you to feel jealous about Xijiu?”
Lan Yue coldly replied, ”I am just trying to remind my fiancé to pay attention to her words and attitude so that other people would not gossip about her. I did not feel jealous.” He pulled Lan Waihu to the side and asked, ”Did you get injured just now?”
Lan Waihu shook her head
Yan Chen finally spoke, ”Alright, now that the crisis has been lifted, you all should go back to report to the school.”
Lan Waihu could not help but look at him. However, he did not look at her but just patted Qian Lingyu. ”Your responsibility is to bring them back safely. I will not forgive you if any one of them loses one strand of hair!”
Qian Lingyu nodded. ”Senior Yan, don't you want to go back with us?”
Yan Chen smiled. ”No, I have graduated from Tianju Hall, so I still need to go back to my family to report on my status.” He looked at Gu Xijiu. ”Xijiu, let's gather again when we have an opportunity in the future.” He turned and wanted to leave.
