Di Fuyi disagreed. ”No way.” He continued telling her about what happened to Long Siye last night. Gu Xijiu was surprised, as she was not quite sure about how one's soul could take over another's body, so she just agreed to what Di Fuyi had told her. ”Alright, I will listen to you and not tell him a thing. I will remind Li Mengxia later so she will keep it a secret.”

”I have sent Principal Li out to carry out some task. I have also reminded her about it.”

Gu Xijiu observed him. ”I did not know that you did so many things while I was asleep.”

Gu Xijiu borrowed the kitchen and prepared the entire meal by herself. Then, she took the dishes back to her room.

After she set the table, she noticed that Di Fuyi was still asleep in the room. Hesitant, she did not want to wake him up just yet. He was sleeping soundly.

She thought about it and decided to keep all the dishes in her storage bag to keep them fresh for him to enjoy the food later.

Before she began to keep the dishes, there were a few knocks on the door. Three heavy knocks were heard followed by four short ones, which was how Long Siye usually knocked on the door.

She opened the door and saw Long Siye standing at the entrance. ”Xijiu, I caught a faint scent of your dishes. It seems like you have prepared some food, haven't you? Can I have some?”

Gu Xijiu would definitely not reject him. She invited him into the room and had a little chat. From their conversation, she found out that Long Siye did not remember anything that Long Fan had done. Like what Di Fuyi had said, even though both of their souls were sharing the same body, their memories were not connected.

She was relieved. Long Siye took a few quick steps and stood watching at the table full of dishes. There was a sign of pain in his eyes.
