1411 Reunited With Their Master (1/2)

Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi teleported into the mansion. Di Fuyi frowned slightly when they entered the prison as there was an insufficient amount of spiritual power in the area. However, the place was filled with evil energy. Besides that, they seemingly heard the sound of people sobbing which annoyed them, and it was also somewhat terrifying in a way. Di Fuyi felt uncomfortable even though he possessed such powerful abilities. Perhaps, she was feeling worse than him?

Di Fuyi placed one of his hands on Gu Xijiu's shoulder. ”Are you afraid?”

Gu Xijiu shook her head. ”No.” She even glimpsed at Di Fuyi with annoyance. ”What's there to be afraid of?”

Though the prison seemed horrifying and cold, she was able to bear with it. After all, she had entered a ghost house before. The prison was not that big a deal!

Di Fuyi silently observed her complexion and realized nothing was abnormal about her and she seemed fine.

He suddenly had an idea as he looked around at their surroundings. He noticed that several dark red color wraiths were lingering around in the dark and narrow trail.

He wrapped his arm around her waist. ”Baby, have you noticed anything?”

Gu Xijiu looked around again. ”Oil lamp, blood, dirty prisoners…”

There were many prisoners locked in their cells. Some of them were screaming while others were sleeping. All of them must have gone through cruel punishments as they were all dirty and severely injured. Some of them were even beyond recognition.

Di Fuyi paused for a moment before casting a spell on her. ”Alright, take a look around and see if you can find your good friends.”

'Good friends?' Gu Xijiu immediately blinked her eyes and looked around. However, she still did not see anything and shockingly asked, ”Good friends? Do you mean the sorrow wraiths? Are there any in here?”

Di Fuyi remained silent.

He softly coughed as he flicked his sleeve and two sorrow wraiths that were nearby her immediately turned into ashes. He quickly pulled her away. ”The Yin energy in here is too strong, and it's harmful to your body. Let's leave!”

Soon enough, both of them found the cell where Li Mengxia was imprisoned. They immediately teleported into the cell. Li Mengxia looked dirtier than she was yesterday. Although she did not receive any severe punishment, she looked very pale as the Fairy Queen Li had tortured her.

At the moment, she was sleeping soundly on the hay that was in the cell. Di Fuyi cast a spell on her and then Gu Xijiu fed her two pills.

A moment later, Li Mengxia acted as though she had just escaped from a nightmare. Her eyes sparkled as she noticed the other two people that were in her cell. ”Celestial Master Zuo! Miss Gu! Both of you are so fast!”

She immediately wanted to get up, but she forgot that she was still locked in chains. Instantly, the chains produced a noise, which alerted the jailor. ”What's wrong with you?!”

The annoyed face of the jailor appeared at the small window on the cell door.

He glanced into the cell. It was quite dark inside. Hence, he only saw Li Mengxia who was sitting there as though she had just awakened from a nightmare. She was rubbing her eyes.

The jailor chuckled. ”Did you have a dream about Celestial Master Zuo? Hng! Don't worry. You'll see him soon when the sun is up. Just be patient. However, forget about Miss Gu! She died a very long time ago! She can never come here with Celestial Master Zuo.”

Li Mengxia looked furious and replied to the jailor, ”Get lost!”

After all, she was the chief master of the Anying Association. Hence, her aura was relatively strong and scary when she got mad. Therefore, the jailor did not dare tease her anymore and left after he mumbled something underneath his breath.

Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi turned visible again as they could not use their spiritual power or cast any spells while they were invisible. Gu Xijiu did not talk much and instead quickly unlocked the chains for Li Mengxia.

Although the chains were not easy to unlock, it was not a difficult thing for Gu Xijiu. A few minutes later, she had unlocked all the chains that were bounding Li Mengxia.

Li Mengxia immediately stretched her limbs. She seemed energetic though she looked sallow. She tried stroking her sleeves. ”Celestial Master Zuo, what should we do next? Shall we kill the imposter?”

Di Fuyi shook his head. ”Let's not rush into anything just yet. We should prioritize getting out of here first.”

Li Mengxia paused for a while. ”The jailor will come by every hour. He might alert the imposter if he realizes that I am missing…”

However, Li Mengxia immediately shut her mouth even before she finished voicing her concern as Gu Xijiu took out a dummy from nowhere which looked almost the same size as her. Gu Xijiu bit her fingertips and dripped her blood on the dummy's forehead, and it immediately trembled and fell onto the ground. Now, it looked exactly like Li Mengxia, and its chest was moving up and down as though it could breathe like a human.

Li Mengxia was stunned. She looked at 'herself' who was on the hay, and then she glimpsed at Gu Xijiu. ”This is?”

”Vision Encumbrance. It will act as though it was you sleeping. It can flip itself and can even respond when someone calls your name. So, don't worry. The jailor wouldn't realize that you are missing.” Gu Xijiu explained.

Li Mengxia was envious. ”Miss Gu, could you teach me this trick when you're free?”

”Let's talk about it later when you have achieved a spiritual power of level nine and a half!” Di Fuyi interrupted.

Li Mengxia touched her nose tip. She did not know that the spell was affected by the level of her spiritual power.

She had been unconscious for two days. Hence, she was very excited to leave. She could not stop enviously admiring and gazing at Gu Xijiu with her sparkling eyes. ”Miss Gu…”

Just as she was about to say something, she was interrupted by Di Fuyi again. ”Miss Gu? She is my wife now.”

Li Mengxia asked as her eyes opened widely, ”Both of you are married?! I was waiting to attend your wedding all the while! When did you have your wedding?”

Gu Xijiu was about to answer when Di Fuyi stopped her. ”This isn't the best time to chit-chat. Let's go!”

Indeed, they were running out of time. Hence, Gu Xijiu's left hand grabbed onto Li Mengxia's hand while her right hand held onto Di Fuyi. She immediately teleported to the bamboo grove.

Gu Xijiu's medicine was very effective as Mu Yun, Mu Lei, and Mu Dian immediately regained their consciousness. At this moment, they were all gathered at the bamboo grove. However, everyone was confused except Mu Feng.
