The beast was thought to be only a myth. It was said that there was a riot which involved spiritual beasts on the continent thousands of years ago. The Black Demon Eagle was one of the beasts that were part of the riot during that time. The Lord was the one who was responsible for sealing away all the beasts inside the dark forest at the eighth peak along with the other masters. It had been peaceful for a few thousand years now. It was unlucky of them to have met the beast at such a place. No one recognizes this beast except for Gu Xijiu as it was an extremely rare beast.

Gu Xijiu noticed that its fingers were as sharp as knives when it rushed towards her. Gu Xijiu had no doubts that she would easily be shredded into pieces if she was caught by the Black Demon Eagle.

She reacted very quickly and immediately teleported away to avoid being caught. She teleported behind the Black Demon Eagle and immediately swung her sword at its back.

”Clanggggg!” It made a loud noise as if her sword had hit solid gold. Gu Xijiu's wrist shook due to the impact, and her sword almost fell from her hand.

She had not left even a scratch on the eagle. Instead, she had triggered it to be furious, and it immediately turned to attack her.

Gu Xijiu had quick reflexes and so was able to avoid the Black Demon Eagle's attacks with her strange movement.

However, the other villagers were not as lucky. The other two Black Demon Eagles had rushed towards the crowd. They seemed to know that the women were the weaker ones among the villagers, so they rushed towards them!

Fortunately, everyone in the village was well-trained. After a few seconds of chaos, they had spontaneously gathered into one big group with the woman well protected at the center of the group.

The other eight villagers who possessed a higher level of spiritual power formed a team and started fighting with the two Black Demon Eagles.

Gu Xijiu had taught them this method of hunting several days ago. The method came in handy when they were fighting more massive size beasts. It was more useful to gather in a group and attack than to charge forward as individuals.

The villagers who were attacking the Black Demon Eagles were the elites of the village. They were very brave and strong and were some of the best hunters in the village.
