You can have the rest of the pearls as a gift.” The amount was enough for her.

She took the pearls from him and kept them in her storage bag.

Gu Xijiu looked up at him, and before she could speak, they could hear the sound of a lute from afar. ”Clang! Clang!” The sound of the lute was similar to the ripping of silk, rocking the audience to their core. A magnetic voice could be heard, following the sound of the lute.

”No way!”

The crowd looked up to find the source of the voice. The group could see a man standing on top of the flagpole.

The man was wearing a long robe of lunar white color. He carried a lute in his arms as he stood tall and upright. His face was concealed under his mask. The man was Di Fuyi.

”Mr. Huang!”

”My goodness, it is Mr. Huang!”

”Mr. Huang is here!”

The crowd was immediately triggered by his presence, abruptly causing an uproar. They were elated and filled with exultation to see him. Some of them even bowed.

Di Fuyi was a very popular man and had seemingly visited the place for a few times as most of the mermen were able to recognize him. They worshiped him. Lan Fei was stunned at first but quickly bowed as well.

Gu Xijiu pursed her lips as she stood her ground.
