Di Fuyi smiled as he quickly headed back to his body. When he opened his eyes, Gu Xijiu was standing relatively near to him and was staring at him.

When she saw him open his eyes, she was relieved.

She had recalled seeing him drown inside her dream. Though he had given her a piece of advice after that incident, she was uncertain about his condition. She kept worrying about him as she was on her way to the prison. Now that she had seen him still alive, she finally calmed down.

Di Fuyi smiled as their two pairs of eyes met, and Gu Xijiu's heart raced. One question popped up in her mind. Was the person in her dream the same as the one in reality?

Did he separate his soul so that he could visit her in her dream? Or had they coincidentally met in her dream? Perhaps, he knew nothing about her dream.

She took two steps forward. ”Hey, are you okay?”

Di Fuyi nodded. ”I am fine.”

Gu Xijiu did not know how to start the conversation and started staring at his lips. His lips were rather attractive. Gu Xijiu could only think of one word to describe it - perfect!

However, his perfect lips had been scarred at this very moment. It was dry and pale to the extent that it was even cracking.

Gu Xijiu remembered that he had told her that he was hungry and thirsty in her dream. Her heart was in pain, and so she blurted out, ”Are you hungry? Are you thirsty?”
