952 Go After The Culprit 2 (1/2)
Two people were observing the mercury mirrors inside the underground palace. One of them was skinny, and he looked clean and fair. He was wearing a white robe as though he was a knowledgeable scholar. Surprisingly, his features were the same as Long Xi's in the modern world!
At the moment, his gaze was on Gu Xijiu, who was walking around the huge mansion. He looked a bit upset. A man was standing beside him wearing a green robe. He was very skinny, and his arms were as thin as a skeleton's. He was staring at the screen which showed an image of Yan Chen and the rest. To be more precise, he was staring at Qian Lingyu who was meditating.
The green-robed man clenched his fists tightly, ”Elder Long, that kid almost transformed into a zombie just now, right? Why don't you bring him here so that you can conduct any experiment you want? Perhaps, he could help us solve our problem!”
The white-robed man took a glimpse at Qian Lingyu and said casually, ”No, we can't do that. The venom has been removed, and it would be useless to catch him now. Furthermore, we will put their people on alert if we catch him.”
The green-robed man was still staring at Gu Xijiu, ”It's all her fault! She ruined our plan! Shall we kill her first?”
Elder Long looked calm but said with a cold tone, ”Don't ever touch her!”
The green-robed man frowned, ”Why? She has been ruining our plans…”
Elder Long said with an icy tone, ”I don't have to explain to you! She is mine, and I'll make sure you regret coming to this world if you dare to attack her!”
The green-robed man remained silent. He did not speak for a while and then attempted to ask, ”Who is she? Why are you trying to protect her?”
Elder Long was looking at Gu Xijiu. She was searching house by house, and it was as though she was looking directly at the lens when she raised her head. Her sharp and cold gaze made the green-robed man shiver!
Elder Long's gaze was strange, as he seemed to have an affection for her, ”She is my best creature… Someone who is very important to me…”
