”Follow me; I’ve some questions for you.” The Lord said as he flew toward the river. Gu Xijiu followed at the back. It was late spring; there were a lot of flowers blooming coupled with plenty of butterflies.

Gu Xijiu was walking along the shore together with The Lord. He seemed to be pondering something but always remained silent. Gu Xijiu slowed down and walked behind him.

A moment later, The Lord looked at her and asked, ”Are you trying to escort me?”

Gu Xijiu was silent. She thought that was supposed to be the right etiquette while walking together with elders. Since he was not happy, she quickly walked further in front as though she was taking the lead.

She took two steps further and walked in front of him.

”Have you no manners!? Why are you walking ahead of me?”

Why is he so fussy!?

Gu Xijiu had a headache. She would have kicked that person into the water if it were someone else. Unfortunately, the fussy one was The Lord. Sigh. She decided to endure.

She was not allowed to walk ahead or behind him. As a result, she decided to walk side by side with The Lord.

After walking for a short while, The Lord took a glimpse of her, ”I think it's time for you to change. Your clothes are smelly…”

Gu Xijiu was not a shy person. However, she felt like crying now! She had been locked in a jail cell for three days, and three nights. Although The Lord was kind and rescued her, she did not have time to change at all. She smelled an awful scent on her body and could not wait just to have a good bath.
