Gu Xijiu and Si Chen were standing on a big tree, and they could see that the beasts were getting closer and closer. They were now only four meters away.

All of the beasts looked strange. Gu Xijiu could hardly name any of them. However, all of them seemed incredibly ferocious. They gathered around a tree not far away but did not come nearer.

Other trees in the distance were shaking. Apparently, there were still a lot of the beasts that had not shown up yet.

They surrounded them!

Gu Xijiu held the sword in her hand tightly and straightened her back. She knew that it was going to be an intense fight.

”What are they waiting for?”

”They are waiting for their leader.” Si Chen answered. ”The Six-EyedSix-eyes Spotted Killer Centipede is their leader.”

Gu Xijiu sighed, ”The two Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipedes are looking for me. Later when I fight with them, you can find the opportunity to escape.”

Si Chen held her hand even more tightly, ”Since we are companions, I won't leave you alone. We have to survive together!”

Gu Xijiu was speechless.
