”What have you prepared?” Di Fuyi was keen to know.

It was beyond her expectations. She stopped and then said, ”Some dried food and salt.”

Although she had brought her storage bag, the bag was just of average quality, which could not fit too many things. She brought a tent and a few sets of clothes. It was already full after she stuffed a few weapons into the bag. Since there was limited space, she had to plan what to bring and give up some unnecessary items.

There were many wild beasts in the Dark Forest and she was quite good at hunting. Thus, she thought she could just grill the hunted animals as her food and did not bring much food except some seasonings.

Di Fuyi immediately caught her deep in thoughts, ”You really thought you will have the time to grill any food?”

Gu Xijiu remained silent. She knew there would be many fierce beasts, however, there should be no problem for her to grill a rabbit if she could find a safer place.

Di Fuyi looked at her again for a short while, ”I thought you’re quite close to Rong Jialuo? How come he didn’t tell you about the situation? What kind of friend is he?”

”He did. He told me a lot.” Gu Xijiu tried to protect Rong Jialuo.

”A lot means nothing now!” Di Fuyi was mad.

Gu Xijiu remained silent.

”These are what you’ve prepared in the last six months?” Di Fuyi said with a dissatisfied tone.

Gu Xijiu was speechless. She noticed Di Fuyi was being unreasonable as though he had just swallowed a few bullets.

However, that sounded like he was being cared for. Thus, Gu Xijiu decided to let him be, ”I feel these are sufficient. There’s food, medicines, drugs… I’ll be more careful when I’m there.”

She even prepared a sleeping bag and a tent! The snscreen was in her bag as well!

Di Fuyi stretched his hand out, ”Give me your storage bag!”

”Why?” Gu Xijiu held her storage bag tightly as everything inside were her assets to escape from the Dark Forest! What if he destroys everything?
