Gu Xijiu watched as the fight went on for a while and sighed. She started directing a directed audio message to Di Fuyi, ”Their moves are more or less the same. The demon obviously possesses her memory from her previous life. They really do seem like a master and a disciple.”

”A master and a disciple in their previous lives,” Di Fuyi corrected.

”Do you think I mistreated him before? Would I bring him down all because of you?”

Di Fuyi rubbed her hair gently and said, ”Who knows what happened previously? It is our past anyway” He then sighed before continuing, ”I have no memory about that, too. However, I am pleased that you and I were already madly in love, even in our previous lives.”

The fight was still ongoing in a state of chaos and darkness and victory still hung in the balance.

Nevertheless, all Gu Xijiu could think about now was Di Hao. ”I wonder how Hao-Er is doing at the moment? Has he fallen into the cruel hands of Fan Qianshi?”

Di Fuyi reassured, ”Worry not. Hao-Er is still well and alive.”

”Really? How do you know?” Gu Xijiu was surprised by his tone of confidence.

”A telepathic connection between a father and a son.”

He hid the truth from her that Di Hao was the Master of the Heavenly Law. If anything happened to him, there would be odd happenings everywhere to indicate his death. Also, Di Fuyi would be able to sense it.

In this case, no news means good news. The boy was still alive and well. The only question was where he was hiding.

Gu Xijiu knew that Di Fuyi would not joke with her about the safety of their child, so she finally felt slightly relieved.
