2991 Scheming Against One Another 3 (2/2)

”Let her go!” The sand was parted to the sides. Di Hao could be seen approaching them, though still looking quite pale. There was a bent-blade in his hand with the sharp edge aimed directly at Fan Qianshi.

Fan Qianshi looked at Di Hao in utter disbelief. ”Isn't that the World Cutting Blade from the Master of the Heavenly Law? How did you get this?”

”Good! It seems you understand the power of this weapon. Now let go of her, or I will use this blade right now, and we shall all perish together,” Di Hao sternly said.

”Let's talk outside, she cannot hold on much longer,” Fan Qianshi then brought her out of the sandy ground.

Di Hao stayed close to them the entire time.

”Master!” The pink candle dragon rushed forward in an attempt to take Gu Xijiu out from his arms.

Fan Qianshi simply waved his hand in the air to create a mobile vortex of rotating winds, and the candle dragon was immediately sent far away by the gusts of wind. It crashed into the ground and had to stay low for a moment to regain its strength.

”Fan Qianshi, don't you think it is a shame for you to use your power as the God of Creation against a helpless candle dragon?”

”It is too noisy.” Fan Qianshi did not care about the pink candle dragon at all. He only kept it alive because of his promise to Little Black. Otherwise, the vortex of rotating winds that he had just summoned would be much more violet, enough to shed its flesh into pieces.

Swiftly, he continued to seal off dozens of acupuncture points on Gu Xijiu's body to take away her mobility. ”Little Xijiu, don't you try to play any tricks. You can no longer get away from me,” he said while putting her down on the ground.

With an additional wizardry barrier cast around her, no one would be able to get close to her.

He then turned his attention to Di Hao and started mocking him, ”I did not expect to see you with this blade. I have been underestimating you, for sure. However, it cannot be simply used by anyone. Do you know how to use it?”

”We can test your hypothesis,” Di Hao said with a smile.

He held the blade tightly in his hand, and a steady flow of blood was then drawn from his fingertip to the sharp edge of the blade, thus igniting the blade into a glowing metal.
