”You, too, did the same to me,” Gu Xijiu replied with heavy irony.

”What do you plan to do with me? Do you want to end my life?” Fan Qianshi locked his eyes to hers.

Gu Xijiu displayed a red sword before his eyes before answering, ”You are right.”

”Are you really going to kill me, though?”

”Let's find out.”

In an instant, the sword in Gu Xijiu's hand rose into the air and aimed itself straight at Fan Qianshi's neck. It was meant to be a deadly attack.

The sword was specially designed to kill evil people and spirits. She was confident that it would be a fatal hit, as Fan Qianshi was still unable to move. Even if she could not kill him, he would at least be critically injured to prevent him from playing any tricks.

As soon as she waved her sword down to attack, blood could be seen spilling everywhere as if a man had just been beheaded.

Gu Xijiu was quite surprised as everything happened way too easily.

”Mother, watch out!” Di Hao called out loud. A sword could be seen heading for her feet.

Alarmed, Gu Xijiu noticed the danger. She wanted to teleport away, but a pair of hands from the ground secured her ankles, making her unable to move. Di Hao aimed his sword at the hands, but it was not made of flesh. Unexpectedly, his sword made a clanging sound as if it crashed into some sort of metal and bounced back to him with great intensity. He almost cut himself with the sword.

Those hands did not stop right. With a strong pull, Gu Xijiu was shoved onto the ground hastily.

It was not utilizing the Ground Drilling technique, but in an instant, Gu Xijiu was already buried deep in the yellow sand.

She held her breath and made a few quick kicks to free herself, but it did not work. She then bent her body forward so that she could attack the hands that were still securing her ankles.

However, someone could be heard chuckling at her attempt. The hands on her ankles suddenly let go and pushed her feet upward.

If Gu Xijiu missed the hands, she would most probably have hit her own legs and became disabled.

Fortunately, she was able to stop herself in time. However, those hands from the ground seized the chance and threw her forward.
