On the outside of Tianyin Valley, rolling red clouds started to fill the sky, turning it into a fiery view. Mighty flashes of lightning could be seen in the mass of clouds covering the sky. A violent disturbance of strong winds began to rage the land.

Fan Qianshi was captured in a bubble of a fiery red barrier that was slowly rising into a sky. Flashes of lightning began to surround him, but he still sat in the bubble with his eyes closed, seemingly at ease. Soon enough, he was hit by the first streak of lightning and spat out a mouthful of blood. He refused to hide or to avoid getting hit. Instead, he chose to endure these streaks of catastrophic lightning.

”What an idiot,” Gu Xijiu thought.

She immediately teleported closer to him and said, ”Fan Qianshi, are you trying to get yourself killed?” Gu Xijiu was now right outside of the red bubble.

Although he was already an Upper Immortal, his power might not be enough to sustain him throughout the entire catastrophe, accounting for 49 bolts in total. He did not even have his protective barrier around him. The man was clearly putting himself at risk.

As soon as Fan Qianshi heard her voice, he opened his eyes and said in a hopeful tone, ”Master, have you forgiven me?”
