Gu Xijiu was obviously annoyed. Being the most respected figure on earth, people would always hold her in high regard and answer her every question without hesitation. However, the man was an exception. He was polite but never ceased to keep a distance from her. He never let his guard down with her.

Reluctant to waste another minute arguing, Gu Xijiu went straight to her point, ”Where is the glacier? Where can I find the entrance?”

Di Fuyi still gazed at her intently. ”I thought you were going to punish me,” he slowly answered.

”Hmm?” Gu Xijiu did not quite understand.

”After all, I have seen you in the water, by accident.”

Utterly embarrassed, that was the last topic that she wanted to talk about.

”As you said, it was an accident. You are so young, so I shall not be bothered.”

”Don't you require any form of compensation?” Di Fuyi's intention was questionable.

”What kind of compensation?” Gu Xijiu asked him back, curiously. Soon, she resorted to a solution. ”Of course, you do need to compensate for my loss. Tell me about the entrance to the glacier, and that will be all,” she offered. She was reluctant to lower herself to the level of a young boy.

Di Fuyi continued to observe her. ”That is all?”

Bewildered, Gu Xijiu did not expect him to offer his compensation so eagerly. She started to think of him as a decent man. Her impression of him had certainly changed a little, but it was a good chance for her to get what she wanted. ”If you really feel sorry, you may take me personally to the entrance of the glacier. It would be great if you could share with me the rules about the place,” she added another request.

Di Fuyi was unimpressed. All of a sudden, the water in the pool could be seen bubbling from within the depths.
