Although the restaurant was full, the staff seemed eager for the young man to stay. ”Gentleman, would you be open to sharing your table with other guests?” They kindly offered.

They then asked the guests in the restaurant, ”Is there anyone who would like to share a table with this gentleman? I can give you a discount for sharing the table.”

”Me!”

”Here!”

”Come here. I can share the table with him.”

All of a sudden, about seven or eight people stood up, offering to share their table in an eager manner. Apparently, the young man's beauty had conquered the hearts of many - both men and women were interested.

Gu Xijiu continued to enjoy her drink without volunteering herself. In fact, everything that happened in the restaurant made her laugh. These days, people were so easily obsessed with one's appearance. Nonetheless, she wondered which table would the young man finally go to.

Of many that stood up, there was a very pretty lady that was seated next to Gu Xijiu's table. Coincidentally, the lady was also wearing a red dress that evening, so her outfit matched with the young man's red robes perfectly.

Like Gu Xijiu, the lady was sitting alone too. Some men tried to ask if they could sit with her before, but she turned them all down with an uninviting and stern look. Nevertheless, this time, she was the one who made the invitation to the young man.

The young man slowly walked towards the lady's direction. Color bloomed in her cheeks as he approached her table. She was excited that the young man was about to accept her invitation. ”Gentleman, please...”

The young man did not wait for her to finish before walking past her table as if she never existed. He stopped in front of Gu Xijiu's table and asked, ”Lady, may I join your table?”

Gu Xijiu was surprised. Her original appearance was disguised under a spell, so she carried the look of an average maiden. She was not hideous, but not exactly attractive. Her looks were considered common, and her presence could be easily dismissed in a crowd.

Gu Xijiu thought that the ordinary look she carried would be a safe disguise for her. Never had she thought that the young man would come up to her all of a sudden to share a table?
