Yan Chen finally recovered from his preoccupation as soon as he noticed some hair on his fingertips. Abruptly, he pulled his hand back and sighed. ”Little Fox, there is no need for that.”

”Hmm?” Little Fox's face blushed crimson.

Yan Chen looked away and stepped back. ”Little Fox, there is no need for you to please me. Don't worry. No matter how much you dislike the intimate part of our relationship, I still love you just the same. All right, you should rest. I will see you in the morning.” He then stormed out of the room.

Lan Waihu did not know what to say. She watched helplessly as Yan Chen left the room. ”What an idiot,” she let out her frustration in a murmur. Slowly, she tidied up her clothes and fell asleep on the bed.

Gu Xijiu was still watching her. She could have easily extracted Lan Waihu's soul out of her body to identify who she really was. However, the extraction would definitely harm the baby. Besides, there were other ways to prove her identity, so there was no rush. Therefore, Gu Xijiu left the room as well.

She went to look Yan Chen by the hillside. He looked like he was patrolling since he was striding up and down the place, but in fact, he was all caught up in a daze.

Gu Xijiu approached him and called him out, ”Yan Chen.”

Yan Chen was surprised to see her. ”Why haven't you gone to bed?”

Gu Xijiu blatantly replied, ”I am thinking about Little Fox.”

”What about her?”

”Yan Chen, when did you find out about the pregnancy?”
