The extracted heart was bright red, but there was a small groove on it that seemed as though something had been connected to it before.

”Go and refine the medicine you require.” Di Fuyi handed the heart to Gu Xijiu.

Gu Xijiu also breathed a sigh of relief as she took the heart. ”Thank you.”

Di Fuyi seemed rather disappointed by her reply. Instead of throwing a tantrum, he said, ”This will be more effective when it is fresh. You should start refining it now.”

Gu Xijiu did not want to delay the process either; after all, everything else was already prepared. Hence, she started the process.

”Master, please look at the princess. Something is not quite right.” Hua Qianyu pleaded.

Di Fuyi turned and slowly walked to Yun Qingluo's side. He looked down at her for a moment and said, ”You deserve it!”

He waved his sleeves, and Yun Qingluo rolled over on the ground. She seemed to have been hiding something which was now exposed. It was a blood-red worm that was shaped like a spoon. It seemed to be biting something.

It was biting a heart! It was a relatively small heart, which was probably half the size of a normal human heart. There seemed to be a big hole in it at the moment.

Yun Qingluo was in excruciating pain; her body was curled up like a ball as she rolled on the ground.
