She died before she could even finish her sentence. After her last breath, her arm slid to the ground.

The Silver Wolf put its head around the dead woman; saddened by the woman's death, tears started rolling in its eyes. The Silver Wolf was obviously a pet, and the baby was the woman's child. Somehow, she must have offended Yun Yanli's men, resulting in such deadly consequence.
The woman risked her life trying to send her child into the Devil Kingdom. Was the father a member of the Devil Kingdom? Many doubts surfaced, but only the last explanation seemed logical.
Before leaving, Gu Xijiu dug a hole and buried the woman. The Silver Wolf rushed forward and pulled the woman's dress with no intention of letting go. Its tears had completely wet its face. It was, indeed, a loyal pet.
Gu Xijiu was moved by the sad story as well. She carried the Silver Wolf in her arm and patted its head gently. ”She is already dead. No amount of tears can bring her back to life. It is better to bury her body than to leave it exposed in the wild.”
The Silver Wolf finally let go of the woman's dress. It did not take Gu Xijiu long to bury the body. She even made a grave for the stranger who died in the wild. She carried the baby to the grave and said, ”Little baby, come here and say goodbye to your mother.”
The baby took a look at the grave, then at Gu Xijiu. His lips were pursed into a thin line, but he did not cry or even sob. Gu Xijiu sighed as she thought that the baby must be too young to understand how it felt to be parted forever with his loved one. He was not as keen as the young Silver Wolf on saying goodbye; the latter kept circling the grave, tearfully. Gu Xijiu could not help but grieve for the woman, too.
After burying the body of the woman, Gu Xijiu looked at the body of the man in green. She heaved a long sigh and decided to bury him as well, but at a different place. She was only doing it as an act of kindness. After all, she could not leave his body here to be torn apart by the wild animals in the woods.
The medicine from the woman was working really well. After a while, the wound had turned into scars, and the pain was no longer bothering her. The medicine managed to solve that problem, but there was another bigger problem now. She still did not know how to enter the Devil Kingdom.
